Andrew Gibbison - Managing Director

Andrew, BMC Recruitment Group's Managing Director, is passionate about recruitment and ensuring the team at BMC continues to operate at the highest possible service levels. Andrew, having attained a degree in Accounting and Finance from Durham University, and a CIMA qualification, went on to train in operations and finance management "on the job" and he has over 8 years experience in this area. With a view to always making sure BMC is a growing business and a great place to work, Andrew provides effective overall operations management, coaching and development of the team. Outside of work, Andrew plays basketball and has been a qualified PADI diver for some time- he has travelled to a number of dive sites from the Great Barrier Reef to the Gulf of Mexico.

Catherine Hingston

Catherine, Associate Director at BMC Recruitment has experience in various industries, initially starting in finance with a career spanning 20 years in the industry. Having found her niche in HR over the last four years this is the area of recruitment she loves and excels in. She has a real passion for building long lasting and trusting relationships with both candidates and clients and loves networking and truly understanding businesses and candidates needs. Outside of work she is a proud mum of four boys and loves to cook! Saturday nights are family ‘eat around the world' and she enjoys making new dishes for her family to critique. Her guilty pleasure is a good reality binge!

Craig Hughes

Craig went to University in South Carolina on a soccer scholarship and graduated in 2011 with a degree in Sports, Exercise and Kinesiology. After spending a year or two working within sports, he moved into recruitment. Within his recruitment career, Craig has worked across multiple sectors at all levels. Outside of work, Craig spends time with his Son and coaches a local football club. He is keen follower of most sports.

Eve Story

Eve Story has just over 2 year's recruitment experience, specialising in the recruitment of HR professionals across the North East. Prior to Eve's recruitment career, she completed her undergraduate and master's degrees in Law, as well as sitting the Bar Professional Training Course. Eve works in the HR market recruiting everything from HR Administrators to HR Directors, Talent Acquisition teams, HRIS specialists, and Learning and Development specialists. Outside of work, Eve enjoys keeping fit and running for literal miles. She is a family girl at heart spending a lot of time with her grandparents. She also loves good food, drink and good company.

Kristen Clark

Kristen joined the BMC team in July 2023, after working in the industry for almost two and a half years, specialising in Accountancy & Finance. Previously, Kristen has specialised in temporary transactional and part-qualified finance across Yorkshire, so understands the importance of speed and urgency when working on a new role. After relocating to Newcastle, she is excited to bring her knowledge to a new region in temporary and permanent finance recruitment! Before starting her recruitment career, she was a manager within the hospitality sector, so she knows how to provide quality service. Kristen's approach is friendly and personable, which lets her build strong relationships with candidates and clients. Outside of work, Kristen loves watching music concerts, trying new food and visiting different cities!

Matt Wragg

Matt, Director and Head of BMC Technology, has worked in this area of recruitment for nearly 20 years. Matt has a belief in developing long term relationships with clients built on a mutual trust and an in depth knowledge of every client so that he can almost act as an internal resource for the business. Matt is a big sports fan (particularly football), and likes to watch and play when time allows as the rest of his time is spent with his two young children.

Rehanna Feeley

Originally from the South with permanent roots in the North East, Rehanna initially fell into the recruitment industry after being a temporary worker herself which quickly became her career and passion. Rehanna joins with over 15 years experience and will head up our Engineering desk. Rehanna has worked within the Construction, Manufacturing and Engineering fields of temporary and permanent recruitment. In particular, she has specialised in commercial, white collar, trades and industrial recruitment providing a committed and tailored service to clients and candidates, always ensuring the best levels of service. Rehanna has a busy life outside of work with two teenage children, a love for cooking authentic dishes from around the world and more recently baking!

Sarah Minto

With over ten years recruitment experience working with large companies, SMEs and start-ups, Sarah prides herself on building excellent relationships with businesses and candidates with an honest and professional approach to recruitment. Recruiting across the full mix of marketing specialisms with a focus on the senior market, Sarah works in a consultative manner offering recruitment solutions on a permanent basis, as well as offering career advice and direction for those within the industry. Outside of work Sarah is a keen cyclist with a passion for bike racing, talking about bikes and taking part in big challenges like 200 miles in a day doing the coast to coast to coast.

Shannon Hogarth

Joining BMC Recruitment Group in late 2015, Shannon has been using her expertise and knowledge to help streamline existing and new business processes. As "Jill of All trades", Shannon's role largely involves assisting with the management of BMC's various recruitment departments and is responsible for the operational, HR and finance side of the business as well as handling all our social media. With a keen eye for detail, Shannon also oversees that all areas of compliance are adhered to. Outside of work Shannon loves spending time with her family, experiencing new cultures whilst on holiday, and catching up with the latest Netflix series'.
