Denning College for Teachers' Education is established at Tezu in Lohit District which is one of the important districts situated in the eastern most part of Arunachal Pradesh. It is predominantly inhabited by Digaru Mishimis and Miju Mishimis of Arunachal Pradesh. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is an undergraduate course offered for those interested in pursuing a career in teaching. The B.Ed. is a two-year programme designed according to NCTE guidelines and is spread across four semesters. The B.Ed. degree is mandatory for teaching at the secondary and higher secondary classes.
