Adriana Piccitto

Adriana is Investment Manager at Indaco Venture Partners. Before joining Indaco, Adriana worked as Senior Consultant for Deloitte - Financial Advisory Services - in the Valuation and Modelling team. She gained experience in preparing business plans for companies from various sectors, both Italian and international. She also supported financial companies in transactions and portfolio valuations. Previously, Adriana worked as Investment Analyst in Principia SGR, a Venture Capital & Private Equity firm where she focused on the analysis of investment opportunities, performance monitoring and exit strategies/disinvestments, specializing in digital and tech start-up companies. She also actively worked at structuring several LBO transactions involving Italian private companies mostly from the healthcare sector. Adriana graduated with honours in Corporate Finance and Financial Markets at LIUC University, Castellanza.

Alvise Bonivento - Chief Investment Officer, Founder

Alvise Bonivento is a co-founder and Investment Director of Indaco Venture Partners SGR. After working in the R&D department of corporations in Silicon Valley between 2000 and 2001, Alvise was a graduate student researcher at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California at Berkeley from 2002 to 2007 with main research focus on embedded systems and wireless systems. From 2004 to 2007 Alvise worked as private consultant for several Italian corporations in the development of wireless systems for industrial purposes. During this period, he developed some patents in the field of robotics. From 2007 to 2009 Alvise was at McKinsey & Co. as an associate with responsibilities of team management working on various industrial sectors. Alvise joined IMI Fondi Chiusi in March 2009 as an Investment Manager and then Investment Director, with experience in running all the parts of the deal flow and main focus on ICT, Embedded Systems and Biomedical Device industries. Starting from may 2018 Alvise is a partner at Indaco Venture Partners sgr where he serves as Investment Director for the new fund Indaco Ventures I. He is currently serving on the board of several portfolio companies. He holds a Laurea Degree in Communication Technologies from the University of Padua and a Master of Science and PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley. Alvise is also a lecturer on topics regarding business management for innovative companies in several top level Italian institutions.

Antonella Beltrame - Chief Investment Officer, Founder

Antonella co-founded Indaco Venture Partners SGR where she serves as a board member and Investment Director. She is a member of Indaco Ventures I, Atlante Ventures and Atlante Ventures Mezzogiorno Investment Committees. Antonella brings over 20+ years of deal making experience having worked in venture capital and private equity sectors with profitable returns. She starts by listening what Founders know about their business because she is convinced that they know more than she does. Then she works shoulder to shoulder helping them to solve their most critical challenges and to capitalize on their biggest opportunities. She is driven by passion and curiosity for new technology and by the opportunity to invest in People. She holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University and she's a Chartered Accountant.

Carlo Sanfilippo

Carlo is Senior Investment Manager at Indaco Venture Partners, where he is involved in the origination, execution and management of portfolio companies mainly related to Healthcare and Life Sciences. Carlo has an extensive experience in the healthcare sector started almost 30 years ago in Esaote S.p.A, market leader in the design, production and sales of diagnostic medical device (Ultrasound and MRI systems) where he developed significant competences in managing R&D projects to production, then in Product and Market Development. In the end he oversaw the manufacturing plant. Afterwards he acted as General Manager in medium-sized companies focused on the production of complex electronic and electromechanical devices for different applications, including medical devices. From 2012 to 2016 he managed, within the Rehab Technologies Facility at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), Technology Transfer projects focused on the development of robotic devices for medical applications, such as rehabilitation devices, exoskeletons and prostheses. In 2017 he co-founded Movendo Technology, a Medtech company, spin-off of IIT, focused on the development of innovative and technological rehabilitation devices, where he acted as COO & Product Development Director, also managing both the Regulatory and the Clinical Development path. Cosimo Calcagno

Cosimo is Senior Investment Manager at Indaco Venture Partners. Before joining Indaco, Cosimo was Senior Manager at Microsoft where he supported main Italian Financial Services operators on their digital transformation journey, enhancing collaboration between large corporations and new players and playing a key role in promoting the Fintech Forum (in collaboration with The Ambrosetti House). Cosimo has a deep experience in enabling early stage companies' growth, developed as Strategy advisor at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia and as Founder at the accelerator We Start Italy. He started his career as a Consultant at Accenture, where he took part in business transformation programs for major European operators in the TMT and FSI space. Cosimo holds a MBA from SDA Bocconi and a MSc and BSc in Telecommunication Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, with main research focused on wireless systems and space technology. He attended Nunziatella Military school (214° course), the oldest Italian institution of military education.

Daniele Maria Luridiana

Before joining Indaco Venture Partners, Daniele gained experience as an Investment Associate intern at Techstars in Stockholm and served as a Business Analyst at Trade Lab S.R.L., a consultancy specializing in market entry processes. He also co-founded Clash of Schools A.S.D., raising funds and leading a team to provide unique services for high school students in Milan. Daniele holds a Master's degree in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from SDA Bocconi, Milan, and a Bachelor's degree from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan. Fluent in English and Spanish, also holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma and Microsoft Office tools."

Davide Turco - Founder, Managing Director

Davide has co-founded Indaco Venture Partners SGR in 2016, being Managing Director of the company since the inception. Previously he served as Head of Venture Capital inside Intesa Sanpaolo group where in 2007 he promoted the start of the Venture Capital activity through the launch of four funds: Atlante Ventures in 2008 and three more Atlante funds in the following years. Previously he worked in the Private Equity, initially at Sige Investimenti and Mediocredito Lombardo, successively as Senior Investment Manager at Intesa Sanpaolo. Davide has a broad investment experience in different industrial sectors, ranging from med-tech to new materials. He has managed several successful exits, as the IPO of Bolzoni at Milan Stock Exchange (Private Equity Expansion deal of the year 2006), the sale of Valvitalia to Private Equity investors in 2008 or the sale of Atlante Ventures stake in Igea. He is and has been member of the Board of several companies. Davide graduated in Business Administration from Università Bocconi Milan. He is Chartered Accountant since 1995. He is member of the Singularity University Alumni Group in Silicon Valley.

Dr. Giovanni Rizzo

Giovanni Rizzo PhD, MBA is an Investment Committee Member and a partner of the Indaco BIO Fund. Dr. Giovanni Rizzo received his Biology degree at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome, his PhD in Oncology and his specialization in microbiology at the University of Perugia, Italy, his post-graduate qualification in preclinical and clinical development of drugs from University "La Bicocca" Milano and his Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) at the HULT International Business School, London. He holds an honorary research position at the University College London (UCL) in the Institute of Liver and Digestive Health (ILDH) and is invited professor at the Milano Bicocca University, Master in Preclinical and clinical development of drugs. Dr. Rizzo brings an extensive experience (over 20 years) in drug discovery and development and some experience in medical device development. He was head of biology of Intercept Pharmaceuticals Inc.; Consultant at Index Ventures (now MediXci), a venture capital firm; CEO of iDNA Ltd, a drug discovery service company; Vice President of Yaqrit Ltd, a spin off company of the University College London, member of board of directors and Chief of Innovation Division of Zcube Zambon group (pharma company). Dr. Rizzo is an entrepreneur and an investor himself of the London Business Angels (LBA) association; he is board member of the Italian Angels for Biotech, Italy and he sits as board member of few companies.

Elizabeth (Betsy) Robinson - Founder

Elizabeth (Betsy) Robinson is a co-founder and Vice Chairman of Indaco Venture Partners SGR. Previously she served as Investment Director of Venture Capital at Quadrivio SGR from 2014 to mid 2018 when she left to found Indaco. Previous she was a Venture Consultant for Sofinnova Partners in Paris from 2005-2008. She has been an active Angel investor for over 10 years. Elizabeth has broad experience in life sciences and the development and licensing of innovative pharmaceutical products. She was a co-founder of NicOx S.A. (1997) and served as President of NicOx Research Institute Srl from 2006 to November 2022. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Brembo S.p.A. a publicly listed company. Previously she has served on the Board of Directors of several life sciences companies in Italy including MolMed SpA. She served as member of the Fulbright Commission in Italy from 2007 to 2020. In her career, Elizabeth has served as Director, Product Development, at Recordati Italy (1990-1996); Consultant, Technology Development, at Techint Engineering Company (1988-1990); Vice President, New Technology Ventures Europe, at Genzyme (1985-1988); Visiting Scientist at MIT (1984-1987); and Post Doctorate Research Associate at MIT (1982-1984). Elizabeth graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wellesley College in 1977, received her M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1979 and her Ph.D. in biotechnology from MIT in 1982.

Fabio Bianchi

Fabio is Head of Legal & HR at Indaco Venture Partners, performing legal and corporate secretary's activities, human resources and organizational management. Fabio has more than 15 years of experience in the legal sector and he is been covering for over 10 years, responsibilities roles in financial intermediaries. In the last 8 years he has worked at PensPlan Invest SGR S.p.A. as Head of Legal Department and previously as Compliance and AML Manager, also working at the establishment of Collective Investment funds and PIR Funds. He has also supervised the stock exchange listing of Fund's sector in Borsa Italiana. Fabio in his professional career has done publications in national specialized magazines about financial intermediaries' legislation, MiFID and Due Diligence connected to M&A operations. He has been lecturer for numerous banking and financial intermediaries training courses, and in the courses for the achievement of the "European Financial Advisor " - EFA certificate. Fabio graduated in Law at Genoa's University.

From 2017 to mid 2019 he worked as consultant in the Financial Service Industry in Deloitte and EY Luxembourg and as Corporate Finance consultant in Finsa from 2022 to mid 2023. He worked from mid 2019 to 2021 in the administrative and financial office of MC Square SA, a management company specialized in the management of real estate funds in Luxembourg. Leo graduated with honours in "Management" with a major in "Corporate Finance" at LUISS University in Rome in 2015 and graduated in Master in "Strategy and Entrepreneurship" at SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan in 2023.

Lukas Hill

Lukas is Investment Manager at Indaco Venture Partners. Before joining Indaco, Lukas worked as a Business Developer at Galenica Ltd - leading fully integrated healthcare provider in Switzerland. He was involved in defining the corporate strategy, lead a team in charge of scouting disruptive technologies in the Life Science sector and was a member in various M&A deals and the IPO of the Group. Previously she been working for two years as auditor for Financial Service Industry in Deloitte & Touche. Raffaella has experience in supervision, organization and coordination of administrative services, accounting reporting activities for management company and funds, back office activities, relations with supervisory national authorities and compliance internal control structures of financial intermediaries.
