Jc Fisher

Jc Fisher of The Texas Tenors, came to LIS Audio to have his Retrobuilt Super Cobra Mustang finished with a complete MB Quart audio system to keep up with the insanely loud Pro Charger attached to the 5.0 Coyote motor, and roaring exhaust! Maxxsonics, the parent company of MB Quart invited Retrobuilt Motors and LIS Audio to the 2017 SEMA Car Show to exhibit the combined work we did on Jc's Super Cobra. Being stationed right inside a main entrance off Paradise in a the Maxxsoincs booth right next to Chip Foose was a huge honor for LIS Audio's first SEMA Show attendance as an exhibitor! Jc Fisher bought his 2011 Ford Mustang GT from Ford, then handed it straight over to Retrobuilt motors to have the entire vehicle retrofitted to a 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby Cobra "Eleanor" prototype. The entire exterior was revamped, the upholstery was replaced with ultra leather and brushed aluminum metal panels were installed on the doors to give the driver a retro feel while in the vehicle. When the vehicle arrived we simply needed to add enough audio to keep up with the build, so we added custom door pods with 2 sets of speakers, 2 12" subwoofers and a 5 channel amplifier to power the entire system. Watch the video to see exactly what we had on display at the 2017 SEMA Show!

Justice "Jax" Berry

Job Titles:
  • Co - Owner & Fabricator
  • Co - Owner of Limitless Innovative Solutions, LLC
Music has always been a driving force behind any hobby Justice had a passion for. He understood the importance of music from a young age and that for millions of people music brings a release. As far back as he can remember, there has always been music played at higher, than some would say, "healthy volume." He saw how that brought happiness to those around him. When Justice was 14, he took a trip to visit family members in another state. Upon arrival, he was met by his cousin that had a passion for audio as well. His Cousin gave him a subwoofer in an enclosure and told him, "Merry Christmas." Once he returned home from the trip, the only thing he could think about was installing the woofer. With his father providing an amp kit, an amplifier, and a few tips, having knowledge from when he used to wire up systems in his day; Justice spent the first six hours of Christmas in the garage, wiring up his first system. That six hour install created the passion for car audio that still drives him to this day. Once in High School, Justice took up more of an interest in the fabrication side of audio. He decided to take the woodshop course they had to offer. After learning the correct use of the necessary tools needed, he began building his own enclosures. As he built more enclosures, peers began requesting them from him. As more peers requested for his enclosures, they also needed the equipment to be installed. Naturally, Justice took the knowledge he had accumulated and jumped into installing stereo systems. When Justice left for college, he had to readjust his schedule, which did not allow for much of his installations and enclosure building. His focus turned to academic studies and his commitment to athletics. Although Justice was not able to get his hands on car audio, that did not stop his passion for audio. He kept a nice home audio system with him throughout college. In 2014, Justice returned to Kansas from Indiana to finish up his degree and football career at Baker University. That spring, Justice attended an audio competition at the local audio shop. At that competition he met, future partner, Cameron "Chimpo" Powell. As they began discussing different ideas about audio, Justice realized what he truly wanted to do. He knew that he needed to become a part of the audio industry, no matter what he had to do to get there. Chimpo said to Justice, "If you're really serious about it, then prove it." After that day, Justice began doing everything he could to refine his skills and knowledge about car audio and 12 volt electronics. In September of 2015, Justice landed a position as an audio technician at Best Buy. There, he received experience in customer service from front end of a transaction, to final product out of the door. Justice received his MECP Certification during his tenure at Best Buy, which was around the same time he received his Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Baker University. As Justice held his position at Best Buy, he also looked for other options to further his experiences in audio. He continually checked for position openings at audio shops that did more advanced work than what he was seeing in his current position. Justice eventually received that opportunity and it just happened to be alongside Chimpo at the shop he had been Lead Audio Technician for. On December 2, 2016, Justice and Chimpo officially birthed, Limitless Innovative Solutions, LLC. Marrying their clientele base, they jumped in and went straight to work. By January first, LIS Audio received its first notoriety from Mobile Electronics Magazine, writing about LIS Audio being an up and coming custom fabrication shop in the Midwest.
