Social Media for Social Good (SMSG) is a training program for young women in Kenya that provides a virtual assistance services for small to micro-businesses in Canada. As a true social enterprise it seeks to target two different vulnerable groups (young women in Kenya and small businesses in Canada) and leverage the potential for both. Social Media for Social Good has grown out of the initiatives of Resilient Generations a social enterprise, founded by Jacqueline McAdam, that addresses issues of social injustice and economic inequalities primarily in Africa. One of Resilient Generations objectives is to donate funds and skills to support the economic development of youth.
