Brittany Lavalle serves as the Deputy Executive Director of Operations, leading the Fiscal, Human Resources, and Information Services divisions of the Conference. She has over a decade of experience as a prosecutor handling serious violent felonies and managing a special victims unit. She has also served the Conference as the Education and Training Attorney providing training on a wide variety of topics to our prosecutors, criminal investigators, and victim witness coordinator personnel. Immediately prior to her time at TNDAGC, she served as Disciplinary Counsel in the Litigation division at the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee. Brittany received her Bachelor's degrees in English and Political Science from the University of Georgia and her law degree from Mercer University. She resides in Franklin, TN with her husband, son, and daughter.

Mike Dunavant

Mike Dunavant serves as the Deputy Executive Director of Legal Services & Policy, leading the Legislative, Legal Services, Training, and Child Support divisions of the Conference. He previously served as Chief Investigative Counsel for the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury Division of Investigations. Prior to his tenure with the Comptroller's Office, he was appointed as U.S. Attorney of the Western District of Tennessee, representing approximately 1.6 million Tennesseans as the chief federal prosecutor and legal representative of the U.S. from 2017 to 2021. Mike has extensive experience with the Conference, previously serving as the District Attorney General of the 25 th Judicial District, which includes Lauderdale, Tipton, Fayette, Hardeman, and McNairy counties, from 2006 to 2017. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and his law degree from the University of Mississippi at Oxford.

Stephen D. Crump

Stephen D. Crump was named Executive Director by Tennessee's 32 District Attorneys General in March 2023. He began his service in July of 2023. Prior to this appointment, he served as the District Attorney General for the 10 th Judicial District, which includes Bradley, McMinn, Monroe and Polk Counties. A graduate of Carson-Newman University and the University of Tennessee College of Law, Crump served as an Assistant District Attorney in the 10th Judicial District for almost a decade. During that time, he supervised the prosecutions in two counties and tried numerous high profile and complex cases, including several death penalty cases. In July 2014, Gov. Bill Haslam appointed Crump to serve as District Attorney General. He was elected to a full term later that same year and re-elected in September 2022. While DA, Crump served as Chairman of the TNDAGC Legislative Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee. He also represented the Conference at several regional "Best Practices" conferences that consider significant and emerging issues in prosecution. In 2022, Crump was the 2022 recipient of the Conference's highest honor, the Patrick H. McCutchen Award for his dedication to the goals and ideals of Tennessee's District Attorneys. He served for several years as a Hearing Panel Member for the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility. Crump is an active member of the National District Attorneys Association (NDAA) and National Association of Prosecutor Coordinators (NAPC) and serves on the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility's Hearing Committee. A native of Cleveland, TN, Crump now splits his time between East Tennessee and Nashville. He and his family are members of First Baptist Church in Cleveland where he served as a deacon and is active in the music ministry.
