Blaine Smoker - CIO

Blaine joined the WNC team in 2012. He specializes in all things IT for the firm. Computers started out as hobby for Blaine in 2002, that hobby grew into his full-time Career. Blaine also works with WNC clients to help support and guide them through their IT planning and decision-making process. Blaine resides with his wife and son in Stevens, PA. He attends Bethany Grace Fellowship in East Earl. He has many passions including astronomy, traveling, cooking, reading, bike riding, and spending time with family and friends.

Cheryl Y. Santiago

Cheryl has been a Certified QuickBooks® Pro Advisor since 2009 when she joined the firm. She has been involved in public accounting since 1985. Cheryl helps our clients with QuickBooks® consulting, set up, training, maintenance and bookkeeping using QuickBooks®. If you have a QuickBooks® question, give her a call. She also prepares individual tax returns, trust and estate returns. Cheryl grew up in the Reamstown area and currently lives in Ephrata. She and her husband own a market stand in building #5 at the Green Dragon Farmers Market selling collectibles. They are members of the Reamstown Church of God.

Dean A. Hoover

Dean joined the firm in 1986 and has been Managing Principal at WNC CPAs & Consultants, LLC since 2006. Dean has over 30 years of experience in public accounting. He is involved in all aspects of the tax, accounting, and consulting services offered by the firm. Dean has experience in various industries including construction, retail, service, natural gas, non-profit, and governmental entities. Dean has extensive experience in the non-profit and governmental financial service areas. In addition, Dean devotes substantial time to address the strategic planning and business development needs for local businesses. Dean graduated in 1985 from the Pennsylvania State University with a BS degree in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Associated Builders and Contractors. Dean enjoys serving in the local community through his involvement with the Ephrata Area Education Foundation, where he currently serves as President. He serves as Chairman of the Lancaster Osteopathic Health Foundation Audit Committee. Dean is also a member of the Fulton Bank Advisory Board. Dean is an active member of the LCBC church.

Douglas S. Livengood

Doug joined WNC in the fall of 2019. He has been in public accounting since 2014. Doug has experience with preparing tax returns for individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations, as well as preparation of financial statements for a variety of industries. Doug graduated from Millersville University in 2013 with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He is a member of the AICPA and PICPA. Doug grew up in Lancaster County and still lives there with his wife and two children. In his free time, Doug enjoys spending time outdoors and with friends and family.

Jesse has been part of the team at WNC since August of 2022. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University - Berks Campus in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and started in public accounting upon graduation. Jesse volunteers at Cocalico Community Church where he attends with his wife, Chelsea. He graduated from Cocalico High School and still lives in the area. Jesse enjoys being active by playing soccer, running and traveling.

Johnny Schlouch

Johnny joined WNC as a staff accountant in June of 2023 after completing one summer season and two tax season internships. Johnny graduated from Lebanon Valley College in May of 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He then continued at LVC and graduated with a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in accounting in May of 2023. Johnny currently lives in Mohnton and graduated from Berks Catholic High School. In his downtime, Johnny enjoys playing and watching sports, spending time outside, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family.

Joyce A. Hoover

Joyce joined the firm in 1999 and became a principle in WNC CPAs and Consultants, LLC in January 2010. Joyce has over 40 years of experience working with closely held companies and individuals in income tax return preparation and planning, financial statement preparation, business consulting, and trust and estate tax services. Her extensive experience includes various industries such as manufacturing, construction, service, trucking, and non-profit organizations. Joyce graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Joyce is the Chair of the Board of Directors of Ephrata Community Health Foundation. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Garden Spot Village. Joyce resides in Akron and has two grown daughters. She enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, watching football, and spending time in the mountains and at the shore.

Justin L. Sensenig

Justin has been in public accounting since 2007 with most of his experience coming at WNC CPAs & Consultants, LLC. He is a Principal at the firm and has experience in both individual and corporate income tax preparation as well as multi state tax preparation. In addition he is involved with the preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements for small business of varying industries. Justin graduated from Messiah College, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in May of 2007. In July 2009, Justin became a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the AICPA and PICPA. He is a 2017 graduate of the AICPA Leadership Academy. Justin grew up in the Ephrata area and still lives there with his wife, Brittany and their three children. They attend Lancaster Evangelical Free Church where he serves on the Deacon board and Team 127 Adoption Ministry. In his spare time, Justin enjoys running and watching sports as well as kayaking and spending time with friends and family.

Krista L. Shaub

Krista is a Certified Public Accountant with 18 years of experience in public accounting. Her responsibilities include tax planning and compliance for individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary clients. She has experience working with various sizes of companies with activity in multiple states and can assist with various tax compliance and planning issues, including state nexus determination and reporting requirements, sales tax reporting, franchise tax reporting, income tax returns and composite returns for passthrough entities. She has extensive experience in tax research and resolving client issues with the Internal Revenue Service and the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. Krista graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting in July, 2000. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Lancaster County Estate Planning Council and is involved in various community service work for other local charities, including Western Berks Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society and fostering dogs for Zoe's House Rescue. Krista and her husband, Mark, reside in West Lawn, Berks County with their two children, Brandon and Alyssa. Her interests include traveling, reading and spending time with her family.

Linda D. Fox

Linda joined the firm in 1978 and is a senior manager at WNC CPAs & Consultants, LLC. She has 45 years of experience in public accounting. Linda provides compilation and review services. Working with closely held companies and individuals, Linda is also involved in tax planning, income tax return preparation and business consulting. Linda has experience in various industries including construction, manufacturing, retail and service. Linda graduated Magna Cum Laude from Westminster College. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and mathematics. She is a member of the AIPCA and PICPA. Linda and her husband reside in Warwick Township, Lancaster County. Her interests include traveling, bicycling and reading. She is an active member of Calvary Church in Lancaster. Over the years, Linda and her husband have traveled to various countries to view first-hand the work that is being done by friends on the mission field.

Melanie Shirk

Michael Ferreira

Michael joined WNC in September of 2022 as Financial Reporting Manager. Michael comes to the firm with 10 years of leadership experience in operations and management as well as 12 years of financial accounting and reporting experience in private industry. Michael graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree with a focus on accounting. Michael also earned his M.B.A with a concentration in accounting from Wilmington University in 2012. Michael, his wife, and three children are new to Lancaster County and comes to us by way of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. When Michael is not working, he enjoys watching his children's activities, spending time with his wife, learning new things, and working out.

Randal L. Goshert

Randy is a principal with the firm and has over 35 years of experience in public accounting, all with WNC CPAs & Consultants, LLC. He originally joined the firm in 1978, left to pursue other opportunities in 1989, and returned in 1997. During the period he was gone, Randy gained experience in private industry while serving as controller and/or chief financial officer in the manufactured housing, heavy-duty truck sales, and mortgage brokerage industries. Randy has extensive experience in corporate and individual income tax matters, reviewed and compiled financial statements, internal control review, and accounting systems design and implementation. He works with corporate and individual clients in the manufacturing, construction, service, wholesale distribution, and retail industries. He also works with a variety of non-profit organizations. Randy holds an Associate of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, both earned from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Pennsylvania Society of Tax and Accounting Professionals. Randy and his wife, Margie, reside in Ephrata. He enjoys spending time with his three children and three grandchildren. He currently serves as Treasurer for Mainspring of Ephrata and the Denver-Ephrata Area Rotary Club. He previously served as Treasurer for the Ephrata Area Chamber of Commerce and as a member of Trustees of Ephrata Lodge No. 665, F & AM. He enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Vivian is a Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years of experience in public accounting. She joined WNC CPAs and Consultants, LLC in November, 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Millersville University. Vivian began her accounting career as an assistant bank auditor. She also gained experience in private industry while serving as controller of an auto parts company and by handling all of the financial responsibilities a company she co-owned with her husband, Sam. She has extensive experience in tax preparation and planning and financial statement preparation. Vivian is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and provides installation, set-up, training, and support services to our clients using QuickBooks® software. Vivian and her husband have two children and three grandchildren. They attend LCBC Church. Her hobbies include cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers, reading, crafting, genealogy research, and attending art and music events.
