BENZAITEN PROJECTS

...was formed in December 2016 by Sarah Fraser, Gloria Kim, and Brooke Larimer. Benzaiten is the Japanese deity of everything that flows: water, time, words, speech, music and knowledge. In that spirit of interconnectedness the three long-time collaborators wanted to join their diverse backgrounds in the arts to to bring contemporary and canon chamber works to new audiences in intimate and unique settings in the New York area and across the country... To make live classical music part of the everyday experience by exploring, promoting, and performing familiar, unknown, and new works of chamber music in venues across the country for diverse audiences.
