BIRA

The Block Island Residents Association has been working on behalf of full-time and seasonal residents since 1954. We are a recognized, tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization. Our mission is to give voice to the Block Island community by serving as an advocate of critical issues faced by the community and as a financial supporter of relevant projects initiated by BIRA or other Block Island organizations... Collectively, our goals are to enhance the Island's environmental, recreational and social well-being so that its residents may reap the fullest possible enjoyment of living here.
