Carter oversees the corporate services provided to Dominion Energy's operating companies, including information technology, security, human resources, and the facilities, procurement and other administrative services needed to support employees and operations across 16 states. She also serves as the corporate secretary for Dominion Energy's Board of Directors and as Chief of Staff for the company's Chair and CEO, overseeing governance, shareholder relations and organizational design. At the time of his retirement, he was responsible for annual charitable giving of over $50 million.
