CKR - Key Persons
Anil has joined CKR Dubai in 2002 and instantly became a valuable member of the CKR professional engineering and leadership team. He likes to focus his attention on business operations, strategy and growth.
Anil has been based in Dubai for more than 26 years and has invaluable experience in the engineering and consulting industries in the region.
Anil holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, A Post Graduate Diploma in IT Systems Management as well as an MBA from the University of Leicester. He is an Accredited Data Centre Tier Designer and an Empaneled Hospitality IT Consultant. He is a Registered Engineer at Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, a member of UAE SOE, CIBSE, BICSI, HTNG and AVIXA.
Branko joined CKR in 1995 and is currently heading the African Projects Division. During his time at CKR, he succeeded in executing numerous projects in Africa and formed invaluable relationships with investors, developers and construction sector professionals. His expertise and experience afforded CKR a large footprint across East and West Africa.
Branko previously worked in Libya, Egypt and the Middle East. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Belgrade and is an ECSA registered professional engineer and a Senior Member of SAACE, ILIESA, SAIEE and a GBCSA accredited professional.

Dean joined CKR South Africa in 2003, prior to moving to CKR Dubai where he specialised in electrical and electronic engineering services for major hotel developments. Dean has more than 8 years experience in Dubai and 15 years' experience in consulting engineering. He relocated back to South Africa in 2013 and joined the Johannesburg office, where he leads an electrical engineering team.
Dean is a Professionally Registered Technician with ECSA and a member of SAIEE and MIESSA. He is also a GBCSA Accredited Professional and an Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Design Professional.
Deon has joined CKR Cape Town office in 2006. He currently heads our Cape Town Office. He has more than 15 years of experience in the Building Services Design and Implementation across Africa. His projects include Commercial, Leisure, Industrial, Educational Facilities and Data Centres.
He holds a Degree in Electrical Engineering and is Professionally Registered with ECSA. He is a member of SAIEE and is an Accredited Data Centre Design Professional.

Gabby joined CKR in 2001 and played an integral part in the establishment and management of the Pretoria branch. Starting with only a handful of dedicated engineers, the Pretoria office has grown into a hub of MEP services catering for the Tshwane region and projects as far afield as Bloemfontein.
Gabby holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, is a Senior Member of ILIESA, SAIEE and a GBCSA Accredited Professional.
Jeán has joined CKR Dubai in 2009. He heads the Regional Mechanical Services Division and has more than 25 years of engineering experience in the Middle East and South Africa. Jeán was instrumental in building CKR Dubai office to include for the full spectrum of consulting services under one umbrella.
Jeán holds a National Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg and is a Registered Professional Technologist with ECSA. He is a member of various professional organisations such as UAE SOE, ASHRAE, SAIMechE, SAIRAC and DSCP Al Moltaka.

Johan joined CKR IT Consulting in 2012 to assist with establishing the infrastructure and IT division. He has 15 years' experience in the IT Infrastructure Design and Implementation, delivering projects across Africa.
Johan is a Certified Data Centre Design Professional(CDCDP), an Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer(ATD), Green Star SA AP and has completed his PMP certification.

Logan holds a National Diploma in Electronic Engineering from the Witwatersrand Technikon and is a qualified Data Centre Accredited Uptime Institute Tier Designer. He is a member of SAIEE, SAQCC, PSIRA and GBCSA. Logan has more than 20 years' experience in Security, IT Infrastructure, Audio Visual, Automation and Fire Detection Services in the build environment.
Marius has 25 years of engineering experience and joined CKR in 2006 to assist with its expansion into KwaZulu-Natal where he now heads the CKR Durban office.
Marius has a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and is a Professionally Registered Technician with ECSA.
Michael has joined CKR in 1999. He relocated to Dubai to oversee one of CKR's major projects and decided to remain there to build a new base of CKR operations in the Middle East.
The Dubai office provides MEP services to the UAE building sector, the Middle East and manages projects as far afield as Sri Lanka and India. Michael has grown the Dubai office to include 60 engineering members, all highly accredited professionals in their fields of expertise. CKR Dubai office prides itself on being one of the most diversified offices whether it comes to providing of engineering services or utilisation of resources from India, Middle East and Russia.
Michael holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Natal, is a Professionally Registered Engineer with ECSA and the Engineering Council of UAE.
Ryan joined CKR's KwaZulu-Natal offices in 2013 adding his expertise in the engineering field with the aim to expand its client base to include international hospitality and entertainment developers. He assisted in establishing the Fire Engineering and Energy Management Consultancies within the group.
Ryan holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Natal Technikon. He is a Professionally Registered Technician with ECSA.

Ryan joined CKR in 2013. Ryan was instrumental in expanding CKR's service offering to most parts of East and West Africa. Ryan has more than 20 years' experience in the consulting build environment sector working in Africa and the UK.
Ryan holds a Bachelors of Technology Degree in Electrical Engineering from DUT, National Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Technicon Natal and is a Senior Member of SAIEE.
Stef joined the originally formed company, CGW, in 1995 and became a director in 1998. The company was renamed to CKR Consulting Engineers (Chorn, Kirtland, Riccardi) in 2001. Stef was instrumental in establishing CKR offices in the Middle East and opening the Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban branches.
Due to his leadership and vision of diversifying company expertise, CKR has grown to become one of the leading MEP engineering consultancies on the African Continent and the Middle East. Stef holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand. He is an ECSA registered professional engineer and a Senior Member of SAACE, ILIESA, SAIEE and a GBCSA Accredited Professional.

Tomme joined CKR in March 2019 where he heads the newly formed Structural and Civil Engineering Services Division. He is a Structural Engineer with over 30 years' extensive experience in planning, design and construction supervision of diverse projects in the built environment (Health, Education, Data, Telco, Sport, Commercial, Retail, Residential, Industrial, Mining and Manufacturing sectors). In addition to the African market, he has experience in the Middle East, Far East and many parts of Africa.
He has extensive experience in and is passionate about leadership and operational management of large teams, responsible for the coordinated delivery of multi-disciplinary Built Environment projects.
Tomme obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Structural Engineering in 1993, after obtaining his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering in 1988, both from the University of Pretoria. He is registered as a professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and a member of the SAICE.
Zanele has been in the construction industry since 2004, she currently heads the mechanical engineering division. She has vast experience in the design of mechanical building systems comprising conceptual thinking and implementation of the design concepts in projects.
She has valuable experience in heating, ventilation and air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR), fire and public health services' designs and construction of a wide variety and size for construction developments. She is passionate about advisory services to unlock the value of projects.
Zanele has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and continued to earn an MBA from Henley Business School and is a member of SAIMechE.
