Brenna Backe moved to Boulder in 2010 after spending a few years playing in the mountains in Winter Park. Currently, Brenna owns Koa Fit - a personal training and massage studio in Boulder. Outside of riding a bike, Brenna enjoys backcountry skiing, surfing, and hanging out with her husband. Brenna is a Liv/Giant Ambassador as well as a an Ambassador for the Venus de Miles charity ride. She also organized the auctions for both the Cyclists 4 Jamestown and Cyclists 4 Lyons events. Brenna joined the board of Cyclists 4 Community this past December.
Ed Kuh has lived and ridden his bike in Boulder since the late 1970's. He has been involved in many facets of the cycling world throughout the years. He raced as an amateur, worked with the Coors Classic and toured by bike throughout Europe and New Zealand. After attending CU he founded and operated Cycle Logic bike shops. Ed went on to partner with several cycling component companies. He has served on several boards in and out of the bicycle industry. Currently, Ed owns and operates The KB Studio - a kitchen and bathroom design center in Boulder. Working with Cyclists 4 Community on the Jamestown and Lyons fundraisers has been very gratifying and Ed is looking forward to helping make Boulder County an even better place to ride a bike.

Jeff Brown is President of Boulder Beer Company and has served on numerous civic advisory committees and business boards; Colorado Brewers Guild, Boulder Golf Association, United Way, Downtown Boulder Inc, Boulder Parks & Recreation, Boulder Restaurant Association and the Boulder Chamber of Commerce. You may find Jeff cruising the singletrack trails around the state, playing around on a CX bike at Valmont Bike Park or chasing the pack in a local crit. When he isn't pedaling a bike he enjoys traveling, cooking and hiking with his wife Michelle and their dog, Pancho Villa.
Jens Husted was born and raised in Boulder and graduated from University of Colorado in 1973. Jens entered the ski instructional world in the winter of 1969/70 working for the Vail Ski School and enjoyed a career in the ski world till he moved back to Boulder in 1990. Upon moving back, he started a photography lab and studio which he ran until 2010 and was a Managing Partner of Flatiron Athletic Club from 2001-2012.
Cycling has always been the number one means of staying healthy and in shape for Jens. His love of cycling lead him to become the chairman of USA Pro Boulder (the local organizing committee) to organize the 2014 Stage of the USA Pro Challenge held in Boulder. This December, Jens joined the Board of Cyclists 4 Community.
Rob Andrew is one of the original co-founders of Cyclists 4 Community. During the day he is a partner at Lockton Companies, the largest privately held insurance brokerage firm in the world. Rob specializes in employee benefits and pension consulting. Early in the morning, late at night, and on the weekends you will generally find Rob out on his bike and active in the Boulder Cycling community. He is a masters racer for the RealD Cycling Team focusing on road and Cyclocross. Rob also co-chairs Wednesday Morning Velo, Boulder's pre-eminent networking event throughout the summer for local business people who love to ride and help each other's businesses. Rob is married to Siga, his wife of over 25 years, and has two daughters, Sidney and Sofi.
Russ Chandler moved to Colorado in 1979 and graduated from CU Boulder in 1985. From 1986 to 1994, he worked as a software developer in Phoenix, San Diego, and New York City, obtaining a Masters Degree from San Diego State University. In 1994 he returned to Boulder and founded his first startup software business called GeoData Solutions. In 2000, he successfully exited that business and became a more serious cyclist, joining and helping organize a regular cycling oriented business network group, known today as Wednesday Morning Velo.
Since 2000, Russ has built and operated or consulted to several software and technology businesses. He was CEO of TimeCentre from 2003 to 2007, and Ubisense from 2007 to 2012. Recently, he helped launch BikeLife Cities, a new bicycle industry magazine and digital marketing program for Catalyst Communication, a Boulder-based outdoor media company.
In the aftermath of the 2013 floods, he and Rob Andrew rallied the Boulder cycling and business communities and raised more than $200,000 for Jamestown and Lyons. These efforts led to the formation in 2014 of Cyclists 4 Community. Russ currently holds the office of President for the organization.
