These miles / points / rewards can be redeemed by you at a later date. Businesses communicate loyalty information to you through multiple channels - from a detailed email to a short SMS. But in this age of information overload, it is difficult for any person to exactly remember how many points you have earned, when do they expire, what can you do with them etc.
