HUBBARD'S CROSSING

Hubbard's Crossing is named for Martin W. Hubbard, a young bachelor logger who staked a claim on Juanita Bay in the early 1870s. Hubbard built a boat landing at present-day Juanita Beach Park along with a post office. He delivered the mail to and from Seattle, crossing Lake Washington by rowboat... Hubbard's Crossing is located on either side of 100 th Avenue in Juanita, with a crossing between the two sides of the community.
