Bindiya Kalidas

Having graduated with a Batchelor of Commerce and Administration in Economics and Finance degree, Bindi (Bindiya) joined Hunter Group in 2019 following roles in financial services and IT services organisations, including as financial analyst, financial operations lead, business analyst and change support. She is a familiar with a range of project and process disciplines. She has worked in highly structured project teams as well as in agile-based rapid deployments teams.

Brendon McMullan

With over fifteen years of ICT experience, Brendan McMullan has been with the Hunter Group since 2008. He has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) majoring in Physics, and a Master of Electronic Engineering, both from Canterbury University. He is also a PRINCE2 and MSP Practitioner. Brendon enjoys the challenges of today's fast moving business environment. Known as much for his easy-going and friendly nature as he is for his business skills, Brendon enjoys the challenges of today's fast moving business environment. He thrives in leadership roles, working as a Project Manager or Business Analyst, finding solutions tailored to meet his client's needs. He is valued within the Group for his communication and management capabilities as much as his technical and problem solving skills. Understanding the human element in the projects he manages is second nature to Brendon who places great value on relationships and teamwork. A dedicated family man, Brendon has many interests outside his work, including reading philosophy and science. "It's a good way to keep your mind open to a wider range of possibilities," says Brendon. "It provides a healthy balance to the more detailed practical issues I face every day in my work". As adept at problem solving as he is at leadership and mentoring, Brendon is a valued member of the Hunter Group team.

Bruce Somerville

Bruce has over 30 years of ICT experience, including 20 years as a Business Analyst. He has a Bachelor of Science with Honours majoring in Mathematics and has recently undertaken part-time study in Economics. Bruce is recognised for his team work and dedication as much as his problem solving and analysis skills Bruce thrives on the challenge of designing and implementing robust business process and technology solutions. He sees beyond the business problem to the human aspects and delivers solutions that are strongly people focused. Strong people skills combine with Bruce's great sense of humour to bring an atmosphere of enthusiasm and excitement to the projects he is involved with. Bruce's ability to define and document complex business requirements in a straight forward manner is highly valued by all who work with him. Within the Group, Bruce is recognised for his team work and dedication as much as his problem solving and analysis skills. Outside work, family is a top priority for Bruce. David Young

A Director since the inception of Hunter Group in 1993, David is jointly responsible for leading and guiding the firm's direction, development and growth opportunities. Plus he relishes the occasional consulting engagement as an opportunity to work with clients to find and implement solutions. David is adept at distilling complex issues to identify the crux of a problem, while recognising people elements will be crucial to any endeavour. David is also known for having an astute eye for the practicality and risks of any proposal. David is adept at distilling complex issues Bubbling with ideas, energy and enthusiasm, David is described by one of his colleagues as having a ‘restless metabolism'. His direct, positive and confident way often rubs off on others. His genuine interest in people flows through to his obvious delight at helping others succeed. David's predilection for technology is evident in the practical management of Hunter Group's (mostly) paperless office; through to his talent for envisaging how technology can best support strategy within major organisations / the strategic possibilities of technology for other organisations. He knows both what can be done, and what will work. David has a BCA in accountancy and information systems, a BSC in computer science, and is a chartered accountant. He is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner. David's astute eye for risk doesn't seem to be at the forefront when he is outside of work. You'll find him on his snowboard or his bike whenever time and conditions allow, or taking time out to go tramping or travelling/adventuring with his family. David loves a good challenge and is a great person to have on your side when the going gets tough.

Ginette Johnston

With her depth of experience as a chartered accountant, project manager and programme manager, Ginette is able to navigate her way through to successful outcomes for almost any challenge that comes her way. It's easy to see why clients love her ‘Organised' is an understatement when applied to Ginette. She says herself that she always has to feel organised and thoroughly prepared. As well as her abilities in managing all manner and sizes of projects for her clients, she also successfully guides her two young daughters and an overworked husband. And always so pleasantly - according to her colleagues, her considerable charm is one of the reasons she is so effective. Ginette is respected for her ability to empower the teams that she leads and strengthen capability in the client organisations that she works with. Glenn Todd has been with Hunter Group since 2004 and has substantial experience as a consultant and project manager. Lucy D'Arcy-Young

Lucy joined Hunter Group in 2016, having previously worked in the tertiary sector both in the UK and New Zealand for over 10 years. Her roles have been many - administration, development, process analysis, training and support. Lucy's breadth of experience has enabled her to apply broad and forward looking solutions, something she enjoys immensely. "I really enjoy improving processes that take in the bigger picture, and have a long-lasting effect" says Lucy. Lucy is passionate about her work, and her natural empathy fosters close and trusting relationships with her clients. Her involvement with clients is long-standing, and she is highly respected for the enthusiasm, skill and hard work that she brings to the job. Lucy's life has always been full of variety, spending her childhood and schooling in several European locations, and being exposed to different cultures and languages. She carried her interest in languages through to her tertiary study, graduating with a joint BA Honours in French and Spanish at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth (she can even pronounce it!), followed by an MA in Philosophy from Birkbeck College, University of London. After leaving university she spent a couple of years teaching English in Hong Kong. Outside of work Lucy is keen on enjoying the great NZ outdoors, often on her bike, though not as often as she would like as she also enjoys the demands of a young family.

Peter joined Hunter Group in 2016, following 3 years in a development role at a New Zealand university. He has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science, both from the University of Otago. Peter loves project work, where he can indulge in his passion for gaining knowledge and new skills. He is always developing fresh ideas, and his ability to question established thinking and suggest alternatives is greatly valued by his clients and co-workers. Peter quickly establishes himself as the ‘go to' person in any team He applies his knowledge to identify and communicate solutions that may not be immediately apparent. Rose Albiston

Rose Albiston has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration, and is a chartered accountant. She brings a broad range of New Zealand and overseas-based experience in accounting, administration, and financial management. Rose ensures that consultants can remain focused on finding solutions for our clients Working part time as Hunter Group's Accountant and Office Manager, Rose keeps the office alive as a contact point for clients and consultants. She ensures that accounts, office systems, finances and other aspects - such as social events - are always managed efficiently. Rose particularly enjoys the sole charge nature of her role and takes pride in her ‘can do - will do' approach. She sees that approach as being important for everyone who interacts with Hunter Group with an expectation of good service. Well known within Hunter Group as an avid sports fan, Rose plays tennis, coaches netball, and is ready to debate any major sporting event past or present. "Balancing family, work, and sporting interests keeps me on the go, and is a good life balance," says Rose. By providing effective accounting, office and financial management, Rose plays a central role for Hunter Group and ensures that consultants can remain focused on finding solutions for our clients.

Shelley Wrigley

Simon is a good listener with an open and approachable style that enables him to quickly establish a strong rapport with clients. When working with colleagues and clients, he prefers an enabling style, working with and motivating colleagues and clients. Simon is thoughtful and insightful, and almost irrespective of the level of complexity he's facing, he never seems to be short of crisp analysis and a clear way forward. Endlessly curious, Simon brings this talent to good use in his consulting work.
