Charles started installing hot tar roofs in the early 90's in Texas while working in the oil fields. He then moved back to Washington in 2004 and moved his way up in the union from apprentice to journeyman foreman, superintendent/PM and then to estimator. With over 25 years now spent in the industry, he specializes in single ply and hot rubber waterproofing. During his free time, you may find Charles riding the back roads on his motorcycle and exploring new areas on the west coast.

Dave has worked in the commercial roofing industry for 30+ years. With many years spent as a production and service foreman, his knowledge of roof assemblies is vast which allows him to service commercial roofing and waterproofing systems like few others can. He learned EPDM (rubber) single ply systems first and quickly moved on to PVC and TPO systems. TPO and hot asphalt BUR systems are his favorite. "Every morning when I step into the van, I become a part owner of James King Roofing and that directly reflects in being successful in everything I do. I am extremely proud to work for a company that bears the name James King Roofing. I believe the company strives for the same values that made the late James King successful and there's a sense of pride that follows that". Outside of work, Dave enjoys building computers and taking on various building projects around the house. Dave is the proud father of twin girls and a son.

As James King Roofing's Service Manager, Evan responds to all customer Service requests and manages day-to-day Service operations. This includes leak calls, roof inspections, roof condition reports, and repair estimates. Providing customers with fast, efficient, and knowledgeable service is one of the many reasons customers continue to use James King Roofing for all of their roofing needs! When not at work, Evan enjoys playing rugby and basketball as well as snowboarding the many mountains the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Jose Ramirez is one of the most recent additions to the JKR Family! He's very excited to deep dive into the world of Commercial Roofing, and learn as much as he possibly can!
Jose is busy learning about the different types of roofing and waterproofing systems that James King has available, as well as discovering the latest trends and innovations that this fast paced and ever changing industry has to offer. In his previous career, Jose spent nearly a decade in the public transportation industry, working under DOT-FTA Rules and Regulations, and in the process discovering a passion for safety and training. As Safety Manager for James King Roofing, Jose finds that a personal and practical approach to Safety is often the best way to not only put a face to Safety, but to also form trust with the Roofers so that they feel like they have someone to come to with their questions and concerns. Jose hopes to make an impact with Safety and help maintain that high James King Roofing standard of excellence!
When not in the office or on a roof, Jose has a passion for traveling around the world to explore new countries, cuisine, languages and customs. Closer to home, he enjoys supporting the Arts and everything Washington has to offer. When the weather permits, Jose enjoys working in his garden, cultivating and planting the thousands of bulbs for mass plantings and tending to his collection of over 100 varieties of tall bearded iris.

As President and Owner of James King Roofing, Kyle brings a lifetime of experience and understanding to the team and our customer's roofing and waterproofing systems. Coupled with over 35 years of management experience in the roofing industry, Kyle has also been the Vice President and Service Manager of Snyder of Washington, Snyder of Oregon, and SR Building Services. He has also served as the President of both the Western States Roofing Contractors Association and the Associated Roofing Contractors of Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Prior to his management roles Kyle grew up working for his father, James King, and has held nearly every position possible as he worked his way up through the family business. His extensive knowledge in all aspects of the roofing and waterproofing industry and commitment to his customers makes him an invaluable asset to your properties and you. When not servicing customer's roofing needs, he is an avid hockey player, golfer, and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

With 20+ years of work experience in the roofing industry, Mike is well equipped to manage all day-to-day operations for James King Roofing. Over the years he has filled many roles such as Foreman, Superintendent, Project Manager, Service/Special Projects Manager, Operations Manager, and now resides as James King Roofing's Vice President. With his wide range of experience, he has gained an exceptional understanding of the commercial roofing and waterproofing industry, customer service needs, and the needs of property managers and ownership groups. He has also spent extensive time becoming certified as an NRCA Foreman and holds certifications in CERTA, OSHA 30, Blueprint reading, Disney Customer Service, Bilingual America and many others in order to be as knowledgeable as possible for the customers he serves daily.
When not maintaining customer relationships, Mike enjoys hiking, coaching his son's youth football and wrestling teams, and spending time with family.
Sam has been exposed to the construction industry for the majority of his life. First as a carpenter for the family business in his early years. He then moved to the management side entering his professional career. Holding experience in general contracting and construction safety through academic and professional work environments has allowed him to pivot into the roofing industry. Sam now provides scheduling and field coordination to service teams and the service manager. He is capable of handling customer requests and responding to concerns that may arise.
Sam enjoys biking, traveling, camping and all of the experiences that come with getting out and exploring the outdoors.
Sarah has spent most of her working career in either the construction or tech industry, enabling her plenty of experience to serve as Service Coordinator at James King Roofing. Currently, she assists the service team with scheduling and coordination. She is also utilized as an in-house IT wizard, putting her creativity and tech industry history to good use! In her off hours, she spends time taking care of way too many animals and renovating her and her partners' acreage. Sarah has a passion for cooking, costuming, and the local rugby scene.

As the Business Development Manager, Sarah's role at James King Roofing is to work collaboratively with her team to solidify the best practice for maintaining existing client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities. She is also responsible for supporting her team by finding engaging ways for the James King Family to build a strong sense of unity with each other and by interacting with our local community through outreach and philanthropy.
Sarah has always found purpose in connecting with individuals and has turned this passion into a lifelong career. Her commitment to her clients has always been her top priority and has driven her success in building meaningful client relationships in and out of the office.
When not in the office, Sarah can be found chasing the weather to fuel her craving for time outdoors. If it's a powder day in the mountains, you can be sure she's trying to catch the first chair at the nearest ski resort. If there's a river in shape or a salmon opener in the saltwater within a five-hour drive, you can be sure she's scheming to get a line wet. She also practices meditation daily and believes that no door is opened by accident.
As office manager Susan handles all of the day-to-day office functions and is truly the glue that holds James King Roofing together. With many years' experience in the construction industry and a background in all aspects of office management, there is no better person to provide our clients with the timely and accurate support they expect and deserve. When not keeping the office in line, she enjoys taking long weekend trips with her husband, attending crossfit classes, and spending time with her dog Coco.

Tony is one of our most senior Service Foremen and has been in the roofing industry for 35+ years. Most of his career was spent working his way up from laborer to general manager excluding the time he spent as Chief Donut Maker at Dandy Donuts. Tony also worked for a large GC at a water treatment facility, fish hatchery and purification system plant where he learned many other skills including carpentry, metal work, and small and large equipment operation.
Tony and his wife Andrea have two grown daughters, Spencer and Madison. When not at work he enjoys camping, boating, golf, and most everything outdoors. Besides enjoying the outdoors, Tony collects classic cars; more specifically, a 1964 Ford Falcon. And of course, Tony loves his Harley's. His 1990 Fat Boy and 1999 Street Glide are his favorites and Andrea rides along on her 1999 Sportster.

Willie has been promoted to Warehouse Manager. His experience in the shipping, receiving, and logistics industry make him the perfect candidate to coordinate and act as liaison between our our office and field staff.
Willie is married to his "best friend" Melissa and they have two children, Faith and Willie Jr. When Willie's not working, he's coaching wrestling at Lincoln High School and Giaudrone Middle School. He loves spending time with his family and friends, playing softball, watching both kids wrestle, and watching them grow as well as time spent with his wife on vacation or going to casinos which provides for some adult fun.
