Whether through his work developing and leading the Advocacy Institute for the Health Promotion Council, or Founding the Leadership Beyond the Game: Sports and Leadership Project, or his collaborative efforts with then Mayor Nutter's office of Black Male Engagement to create a Group Mentorship Space, it's obvious that community empowerment has motivated and inspired him from the very beginning.
