The Lawrenceburg Conservancy District (LCD) maintains and operates the Lawrenceburg levee system, consisting of 18,300 feet of earthen levee, 8 flood gates, 5 pump stations, and a system of pressure relief wells - ultimately protecting 2 billion dollars in property and infrastructure value, along with the many people that work and sleep behind the protection of the levee wall.
