Initially sponsored by a National Science Foundation I-Corps Grant to establish teams of academic researchers and experienced entrepreneurs to accelerate the transition of advanced research findings into viable commercial products, the PolyBallistics team was launched in 2015 and formally incorporated in 2017... Based upon more than 100 interviews and group meetings with local, state and federal end users, our team went to work developing our first product - a new rubber round that addresses all of the critical performance weaknesses identified by those practitioners... We will apply advanced scientific research, development and testing applications to develop ​enhanced performance products for law enforcement and military customers. Our commitment is to listen to the end users to identify opportunities to utilize technology advancements to address their specific product requirements.
