Born and raised in central Texas, Charlotte is a fifth-generation Texan and attended Sam Houston State University. After acquiring her bachelor's degree in 1994, she worked as a law clerk for a prominent family lawyer while attending law school. Charlotte graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1998. Charlotte Rainwater, founder of The Rainwater Firm, has devoted her practice solely to family law for her entire 20-year career. Recently, Charlotte expanded her practice to include collaborative law, mediation, and arbitration. Founding attorney Charlotte Rainwater has over 20 years of legal experience helping Texas individuals and families. Charlotte Rainwater is board-certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
