SOURCE SECURITY WORKING GROUP

The Source Security Working Group (SSWG) is an alliance of industry sectors, including energy, healthcare, oil and gas applications, and industrial radiography, who seek to ensure continued access to radiological sources. Radiation technologies are a critical and underappreciated component of our modern economy, from cutting-edge cancer treatments, to measuring oil and gas reserves, pipeline inspection, and sterilization of medical supplies... The Source Security Working Group serves as a strong voice for fair and rational policies at the federal and state level, pursuing a variety of goals that include protecting the U.S. isotope supply, ensuring our laws and policies are informed and science-based, and supporting federal research opportunities.
