Martin Solem (born 1985) is a Norwegian designer, based in Copenhagen. He moved to Denmark, inspired by the classic Danish design, where he started working for Rud. Rasmussen. In 2014 he graduated from The Royal Danish Design School. Martin describes his work: "As a designer I always try to be innovative, but I might be a bit old fashioned in my thoughts of design. For me a product has to be realistic and useful to be called good design. What I try to do is to combine these basic thoughts with new innovative ideas".
Zaha Hadid was an Iraqi born British designer and architect.
She received the Pritzker Prize in 2004 (first woman to win it) and the Stirling Prize in 2010 and 2011. She had been one of the leaders and member at the highest level of the deconstructivism trend. In 2010 The Time has included her in the list of the 100 most influential personalities of the world.
