LAVENDON PRE-SCHOOL - Key Persons

Anouska Tolaini

Job Titles:
  • Early Years Practitioner
I love all the Disney films and their characters. My favourite Disney character is Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. I like him because he is bouncy and full of fun, plus he is orange and that's my favourite colour. I have two boys who love reading books so I read all sorts of stories. My favourite books are the ones that make you laugh and I also like books where everyone can join in with the story too. I like to build Lego and see who can make the biggest tower. Also my boys like to play with cars and have lots of races. So I tend to be playing on the floor building garages or race tracks. When I was little I use to play with My Little Pony and Barbie but don't tell my boys that! I also loved to play with farm animals and tractors. I have worked with children for 20 years from preschool age to year 5. I have worked with children with a range of different abilities and disabilities which I really enjoy. I had to learn basic sign language called makaton as I worked with a Down's syndrome child. I have also learnt different techniques to help children learn how to handle different challenges.

Emma Finch

Job Titles:
  • Early Years Practitioner
I have been working with children for four years now and gained my level 3 qualification in 2015. I have Special Education Needs training and have worked with children with additional needs and supporting them to achieve the best they can. I love to do this as it gives me so much pleasure knowing that I can really help children and make a difference which I feel very passionate about. I love working with young children as every day is different and I love watching how much they grow and supporting them on their journey ready for school. I have two girls of my own who I love spending time with. I like to share books with my children but my favourites are the Gruffalo and We're Going on a Bear Hunt. I love these stories as children love to listen and can get involved in the story too. I really love being involved in messy play with children and watching them to play and see how much fun they're having but also the lots of different skills they are learning. I like to get messy too.
