Caroline Bates

Caroline has extensive experience as a client-side marketer and insight professional. Caroline was Head of Brand and Marketing Strategy at O2 Telefonica. She also led the Brand and Communications team within the Post Office, where she created the brand platform and approach for the People's Post Office.

Chris Hopwood - Founder

Chris launched FS Partnership in 2014. After fifteen years in the banking industry, he felt there was a need for an agency dedicated to financial services marketing. Before leaving, Chris was responsible for the RBS Group's Performance Media and Content Strategy (RBS and Natwest Brands). He has also held senior roles in Barclays, Lloyds TSB and the National Australia Bank, in asset management, stockbroking and retail banking.

David King

Job Titles:

David has spent over 25 years as an advocate of good English. He has worked in the public and private sector and now oversees the standard of written communications in FS Partnership. His aim is to make financial technology, insurance and banking accessible and jargon free, believing that the written word should serve commercial objectives, not obstruct them. David's approach to editing is governed by three principles: simplification, clarification and information.

Ellen Vincent

Ellen has a wealth of experience working client-side in the banking sector and with a number of different agencies. She has over 15 years' experience working in The Royal Bank of Scotland, The Bank of Ireland and the Post Office's financial services division. In her time, Ellen has been responsible for developing a range of new lending products.

Hilary Barrett

Hilary has worked in creative services and marketing for the past seven years. Before joining FS Partnership, Hilary was the Head of Marketing and Products for Saffron Building Society. This role gave her a deep understanding of the requirements of customers, and the importance of differentiation and effective communication to meet customer needs. Being able to reach customers with messages they can relate to and highlighting their unique needs was vital, whether targeting brokers from a B2B perspective or B2C customers.

James Dickens

James has sixteen years of analytics experience, specialising in performance-based marketing, accountability, and customer insight. The majority of this time was spent working for WPP's GroupM, the UK's largest media network, in two of their lead agencies, MediaCom and MEC. James then moved on to the world of localised marketing, and spent four years leading the Client Service and data strategy offering of Mediaforce, the market leader in this area.

Kerenza Evans

Kerenza's career has spanned the fields of advertising, writing and consultancy over 10 years. She began her career at Ogilvy, managing the advertising for a global Credit Card account across North America. Following this, she moved to Accenture to consult for clients across a range of industries from financial services to media companies to the charity sector. Kerenza additionally has extensive experience writing and editing corporate, blog and marketing content.

Martin Ring

Martin has served the financial sector for over 20 years in markets across Europe, the Middle East and the US. In a career which began at the Financial Times, Martin subsequently took on senior PR and Marketing roles with Cardif Pinnacle (a subsidiary of the BNP Paribas banking group) and Genworth Financial (a Fortune 500 company). More recently he has managed PR and Communications at the Qatar Financial Centre Authority, as well as a variety of influential financial services brands based in the UK and overseas.
