David Knight - Founder, President

Mr. Knight is the founder and President of Georgian Capital Partners Corporation. Prior to creating the firm, Mr. Knight started Knight, Bain Seath & Holbrook Capital Management (KBSH) in 1980, and served in the roles of President, Executive Chairman, and Founding Partner over his almost 27 year tenure. KBSH became a widely recognized manager of pension, endowment, foundation and private investment portfolios. Prior to starting KBSH, from 1970 to 1980 Mr. Knight was a research specialist with Massachusetts Financial Services in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Knight graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba in 1965. After three years in the Procter & Gamble brand management group, he returned for graduate education at Harvard University, earning a Master of Business Administration in 1970. Subsequently, he received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1975 and was active in the Boston Security Analysts Society. After returning to Canada to start KBSH, he has been involved in arts and charity organizations and was recently a Board member on the Sick Children's Hospital Foundation.

Patrick Kim - Founder

Mr. Kim is a partner of Georgian Capital Partners Corporation and is the leader of the Georgian income growth team, with over 20 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Georgian Capital Partners, he was a key member of the equity group at KBSH Capital Management, most notably specializing in dividend-paying equities and income trusts. Prior to KBSH, Patrick was in equity research for seven years at Newcrest Capital, subsequently TD Newcrest. His education and professional designations include: Bachelor of Commerce, University of Toronto from Trinity College; Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA); Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA); and Investment Counsel / Portfolio Manager (IC/PM).

Stuart Isherwood

Mr. Isherwood brings 20 years of experience in the capital markets. He is a partner with the Georgian income growth team. Prior to joining Georgian Capital Partners, he researched dividend-paying equities and income trusts. His professional experience includes: the Bank of Nova Scotia - corporate banking; UBS - telecom and cable analyst; and Blackmont Capital - Director, institutional equities. Also, Stuart has published a number of investment articles, and has been interviewed in national print. His education and professional designations include: Bachelor of Commerce, University of Toronto (Gold Medalist); Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA); Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA); and Investment Counsel/Portfolio Manager (IC/PM).

Suzanne Lounder

Ms. Lounder is a client partner responsible for portfolio administration, with over twenty five years of experience in all aspects of client portfolio accounting and reporting. Formerly with Knight, Bain, Seath and Holbrook (KBSH); she was previously with Canada Trust and CIBC Mellon. She is an Honours Graduate of the University of Toronto; and completed the Canadian Investment Fund and Canadian Securities Courses.

Sylvana Dearden

Ms. Dearden is a client partner and coordinates marketing services and the management of our office, with over twenty five years of administrative experience. Formerly with Knight, Bain, Seath and Holbrook Capital Management (KBSH); she has previously worked with Ernst & Young Corporate Finance, Commercial Capital Corporation, and Nextair Ltd. She is an Honours Graduate of George Brown College.

Wendy Giofu
