Puntland minority women development organisation is a registered community service organisation established in 2001 in Galkayo District of Mudug Region Puntland state. PMWDO was established by a group of professional women from minority groups within Somalia as a response to the provision of essential services for the marginalised communities. Our belief that economic, social and environmental security is the bedrock of a healthy community drives the nature and intent of our programming. PMWDO works to improve the social welfare and build the capacity of marginalized minority women and children through provision of Primary Education, Health Care Services and Capacity Building Training in Environmental Management and Income Generation for the long-term sustainability of Development.
