Colby Robards

Role Business Development Manager Colby is a fully licensed real estate agent with over 12 years' experience in the industry, 10 of which have been within the CHL Group. Colby brings a wealth of experience to the HHR team, gained through multiple roles in property and investor management and compliance and reporting within the group. Prior to joining the HHR team, Colby worked for Australian Affordable Housing Securities (AAHS), a sister company to HHR, in the role of Development and Technical Service Officer. This has given him an extensive understanding of the industry, enabling him to work closely with investors and use his expert knowledge of the NRAS and property investment strategies to provide successful outcomes for over 3000 investors. Colby brings excellent attention to detail, problem solving and strategic planning skills to HHR, and he is excited to support future development, excellent customer care and outstanding solutions for our clients.

Gavin Potter

Role Executive Director Gavin is a Chartered Accountant registered in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Gavin holds an Honours Bachelor of Accounting Sciences degree together with a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting. Gavin began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he managed a diverse portfolio of clients gaining experience within the automotive, healthcare, retail, manufacture, mining, construction and not-for-profit sector. Gavin has international experience having worked in South Africa, where he carried out most of his employment in public practice with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and in the United States of America where he worked within the oil and gas industry and more specifically around Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and reporting. With his family in mind Gavin immigrated to Australia in 2013 and joined the Horizon Housing Group. As CFO Gavin was responsible for controlling the group's financial transactions, financial reporting and implementation of an effective financial risk management framework that supported the strategic direction of the organisation. In 2019 the CHL Group acquired the Horizon Group where Gavin was appointed to the General Manager position of Horizon Housing Realty (HHR) and Australian Affordable Housing Securities Limited (AAHS) responsible for delivering affordable & market housing. Gavin obtained his real estate license and was appointed the Board of HHR where he serves a licensed director ensuring regulatory compliance. Gavin is also one of two responsible managers responsible for an affordable housing Managed Investment Fund operated by AAHS and is also a director of AAHS. In 2023 Gavin was appointed as Acting Chief Financial officer for the CHL Group of Companies and currently serves in that role. Gavin is responsible for the Financial, Treasury and Reporting division the group's having oversight and control of the financial transactions, financial reporting and implementation of an effective financial risk management framework that supports the strategic direction of the Group.

Jenny has almost 30 years of experience, commencing her career in taxation compliance (8 years), then moving across to client based public accounting after emigrating to Australia and having a family (3 years); prior to joining the CHL/Horizon Housing Group 15 years ago.
