Danny Adler is known as the go-to guy for creative solutions to small business, commercial and retail banking questions. Danny solves problems and gets things done. And as a result, has very happy clients.
Danny launched his banking career at MB Financial in 2011 and grew through multiple assignments in all facets of the business. He became a Lakesider in 2020 and is now the VP, Market Manager at our newest branch, Park Ridge.
He began his college education at NYU, studying acting, and graduated from Northeastern Illinois with a BA in history. Danny remains a history (and science) fan, reading textbooks for fun! He's a Chicago guy through and through and loves exploring the city. He's big on travel, and dotes on his wife Victoria, sons Jacob & Rafael and dog Ringo. He also takes great pride in his garden. Dan Bles was born and raised in Elmhurst and is a proud alumnus of York High School, Class of 2007.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Benedictine University, with a BA in Business Management.
Dan's been a Lakesider since 2016. First, he was key to our retail branch management team and has since grown through the ranks of commercial lending. Prior to joining Lakeside, Dan worked at Suburban Bank & Trust, Hinsdale Bank and Wintrust Mortgage. Dan Knows the area … and Dan Knows both retail & business banking.
Dan's a recent convert to ice hockey. Over the past six years, he's joined several adult hockey leagues in and around the western ‘burbs and since 2018 has volunteered with the Chicago Blackhawks Special Hockey organization, helping those with developmental disabilities play hockey. Although he can be fierce on the ice, Dan is an incredibly empathetic guy and a Lakesider we're very proud of. He's also known as the "King of Puns" here at Lakeside!

David is the Vice Chairman and President of Lakeside Bank, and is a member of the Executive Committee. He is a Senior Lending Officer and is focused on business development with an emphasis on business banking and commercial real estate lending.
His career in banking started at Lakeside in 1989 and he's been an integral party of the bank ever since. David holds a BS and MBA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He is active in various community organizations including Concordia Place, which provides affordable child care and family services to low income families and 3Arts, which offers unrestricted grants to Chicago area artists.

George has spent over three decades working to enhance our nation's cities, while fostering public awareness and appreciation for architecture. Early in his career, he worked in Chicago as a designer and urban planner. In 1981, he opened his own firm with David Haymes; leading extensive projects such as City Commons, Embassy Club, and Willow Court.
George is a licensed architect in 14 states and is currently principle-in-charge on large-scale planning and significant residential, mixed-use and retail projects throughout the United States. At the age of 39, he was one of the youngest members to be elevated to the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows.
Over the years, George has lectured at numerous institutions and societies and has served on many design juries. His achievements have been published internationally and have been featured in numerous exhibitions. He has served on the Board of Directors at Lakeside since 2004.

We call Jackie our, "Jackie of All Trades" because, well, she can do anything. As the Assistant Branch Manager, she helps clients open checking & savings accounts, CD's, IRA's and more. And she's superb at aiding with account reconciliation so customers know they can always count on her to answer questions. She's also essential in the day-to-day running of the branch, assisting the teller line with deposits, withdrawals and important reports.
And she's always extended her "all trades" life philosophy to sports, too. In school she played basketball, volleyball, softball, ran track & field, swam and even kicked the soccer ball. Jackie is still always moving!
Jackie became a Lakesider in 2017. She began at our Michigan Avenue branch, moved to Elmhurst, was promoted and helped open Oakbrook Terrace. She was promoted again and is now back at Elmhurst. Her educational background is in business and finance.

Malgorzata Dubert, also known as Mal, is our Assistant Vice President and Treasury Management Officer at our Park Ridge branch. Born and raised in Poland, Mal wanted to help people. So, her dream was to be a teacher. She received her MA in History with an Education minor and was indeed a teacher for a few years. However, the United States beckoned, and Mal moved here in her late 20's. In America, she quickly realized the importance of financial awareness and money management. A lecturer on eminent domain, condemnation and property rights, Mark has also authored multiple articles on related subjects. Mark is also an active real estate investor, acquiring and developing commercial properties, many of which required extensive remediation, rezoning and repositioning before being successfully completed and sold. Mark did his undergraduate work at Miami University and received his J.D. from Loyola University. A former law clerk to Justice William G. Clark of the Illinois Supreme Court, Mark was also Staff Counsel to the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives. He is a longstanding member of the Board of Directors of Easter Seals of Metropolitan Chicago. He has served as Vice Chairman of the Board, and is currently a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Development Committee. Mentored … and mentoring. That's Mike Fogarty. Mike's been a Lakesider since 2014 and is one of our senior commercial loan officers. And he's quite a unique loan officer. Read on!
Mike knows how important it is for us to look out for one another. Mike was an Evans Scholar. For those who don't know the Evans Scholar program, it's quite an honor. Since 1930, the foundation has helped highly deserving young golf caddies with financial need go to college. There are rigorous requirements. Mike won a four-year scholarship to Marquette University, graduating with a BS in Finance in 2004.
At Marquette, Mike had a professor who was also a Senior Lender for Port Washington State Bank in Wisconsin. This professor opened Mike's eyes to how commercial banking could help people and businesses. Mike also "shadowed" the visiting professor professionally … and Mike's love of banking was sealed. Mike understands the powerful impact the right banking relationship can have. He's known for how carefully he evaluates opportunities and builds relationships. It's Mike's "emotional intelligence" tempered with financial acumen and a desire to see projects move forward and dreams realized.
Mike began his banking career at Pullman Bank (now US Bank) out of college. He joined Lakeside ten years later in 2014 and has been a Lakesider ever since. He has both credit and origination / relationship management experience.
Mike, his wife Jessica, and daughter Hannah live in the southwest suburbs. And yes, Mike still loves to golf.

Pat built her unique HR skills through hands-on experience. Forty years of banking HR! There is no need, no issue, no opportunity, Pat hasn't addressed and learned from. So, she handles literally everything with remarkable poise. She's as comfortable in a Board meeting as she is welcoming a new Banker she hired on their first day. Pat has run the HR department at Lakeside Bank for over six years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from DePaul University.
Pat has unique advantages that provide a powerful "emotional antenna": She grew up in a large family. And then raised a large family. How PERFECT for a career in human resources! Having six siblings meant Pat had to learn and negotiate relationships at a very early age! And then, married to her best friend for 37 years, Pat raised six kids! (Three girls and three boys--Shades of the Brady Bunch! ) Speaking of shades, five of her six kids have hair in various shades of red, so the McNulty clan has always been instantly recognizable in Elmwood Park, where they've lived for 34 years.
This love of family … and the day-to-day experience of managing family … is Pat's north star. Pat understands people. She treats Lakesiders as her extended family. (As if she needed more kids!) Lakesiders from every department and every branch know Pat is remarkably easy to talk to and a superb listener. The need for that skill comes with the territory, but Pat is a natural.
Pat is also a competitor; she grew up playing softball in leagues all over the city. And she works at golf, although she reports it's more about being with friends and laughing. She also coached volleyball and softball for many years. She's a lifelong Cubs fan. And loves going to college football and basketball games with her family. Adding to her well-roundedness, Pat enjoys concerts. All genres, but especially Country. And Rock. And lastly, but very importantly, Pat is a thankful Breast Cancer Survivor.
Pat is a wonderful person to get to know. And if you're very lucky, she'll include you on the list of folks who get a loaf of the Irish Soda Bread she makes every year on St. Patrick's Day.

Tim Hangsterfer Knows Chicago. And the suburbs. In all directions. He's a highly successful commercial real estate lender with a construction finance specialty. And Tim Knows banking; he's been in the business since 2002 and a leader at several financial institutions. He has a degree in Economics from Indiana University and 2005 credentials from the acclaimed Graduate School of Banking. Tim also Knows golfing, snowboarding / skiing, woodworking, and he even coached youth football and baseball. Tim joined Lakeside in 2022.

Tim is Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for Lakeside, joining the Bank in 2006. Tim chairs the Loan and Risk Management Committees and sits on the Adverse Asset, ACH and Executive Committees. He is responsible for the Bank's Loan Policy and Lending Guidelines. Tim also created and formalized Lakeside's Credit Administration practices and manages the Interest Rate Swap Program. Tim has trained more than 30 current Lakeside employees and proudly watched as many have risen through the ranks. Tim founded the MPS Memorial Foundation in 2010 to raise awareness and funds to support organizations dedicated to finding a cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and an MBA from DePaul with a concentration in Real Estate Finance and Investment.
