Dr. H. B. Jamison

Dr. Jamison grew up in Dallas, Texas, the oldest son of Dr. H. B. Jamison, a prominent Ob/Gyn physician. He attended Tulane University in New Orleans and graduated Cum Laude, with a degree in Chemistry. Dr. Jamison attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and graduated in 1979. He then completed a General Surgery Internship at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, before returning to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Memorial Hospital for training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After completing his residency in 1984, Dr. Jamison fulfilled his long-term dream of joining his father in the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Methodist Medical Center, Dallas. While practicing in Dallas for over 20 years, he served as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for four years. He became very closely tied to the residency training program through Methodist Hospital and in 1999 was nominated by residents and recognized by the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology for Excellence in Resident Education. In addition to this, Dr. Jamison maintained close ties with Southwestern Medical School and continued to teach Gynecologic Surgery to residents at Parkland Memorial Hospital for many years rising to the position of Clinical Professor. In 2004, Dr. Jamison moved to Sarasota to join Gulf Coast Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has always enjoyed developing a close relationship with patients in the general practice of Ob/Gyn, caring for women through all stages of their lives. As such, Dr. Jamison has developed particular interest in the management of pelvic prolapse and urinary incontinence and has acquired advanced training in the surgical management of pelvic prolapse and pelvic floor dysfunction. Dr. Jamison was originally Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1987, re-certified by written examination in 1995, and continues yearly Maintenance of Certification. He is an Assistant Professor at FSU College of Medicine and enjoys teaching medical students during their Ob/Gyn rotation. Dr. Jamison is active in the Ob/Gyn Department at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and has served on the departmental Quality Insurance committee for the last two years.

Dr. Jennifer Henson

I became an obstetrician / gynecologist because I want to support and educate women in all stages of their life. No matter the age, I enjoy being able to guide women through their health journey. I hope to empower women to make the most informed choices for their health. When I am not in the office, I enjoy being outdoors, bird watching and taking advantage of all that our area has to offer.

Dr. Natalie Adams

My favorite part of my job is delivering babies and my goal is to hopefully deliver up to 10,000 babies by the end of my career. I am from the Cincinnati area and recently moved here because I love Siesta Key and the weather. I have 4 young children and the best husband ever. I am so happy to call Sarasota home and continue my life and career here.

Dr. Sarah Schmitz

I enjoy practicing as an OB/GYN. I'm extremely passionate about women's health and love delivering babies. Originally from Buffalo, NY, I have always been a fan of the Buffalo Bills. Patient care and making patients comfortable are very important to me. I care for women from puberty through menopause and have a special interest in contraception, infertility, and hormone replacement therapy. I look forward to meeting new patients and continuing to provide care for the women of the Suncoast.

Gary W. Easterling

Dr. Easterling was born and raised in Kalamazoo, MI. He attended Michigan State University where, along with becoming a SPARTAN fan, he graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology. He went on to attend medical school at Wayne State University. After completing his Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at Oakwood Hospital in Detroit, MI in 1991 he re-located to Sarasota, FL to begin practicing medicine. In 1995 he and Dr. Joseph Corcoran formed the obstetrical practice which is now known as Gulf Coast Obstetrics & Gynecology of Sarasota, LLC. Dr. Easterling takes a special interest in minimally invasive surgical procedures and is certified in laparoscopic and DaVinci Robotic Assisted Minimally Invasive Surgery including myomectomy, hysterectomy, pelvic suspension procedures among others. He also serves as an Assistant Professor with the Florida State College of Medicine. As part of his commitment to enhance women's health care, Dr. Easterling became certified and is now a physician proctor for a number of in-office procedures. He is able to complete procedures for abnormal bleeding or an alternative method for sterilization in office that allow the patient to resume normal activities the next day safely, efficiently and usually more cost effective for the patient.

Heather Harster

I graduated from Maryville University in St. Louis in 2012 with my BSN, and I recently received my MSN in Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in 2022. I have worked as a Labor and Delivery / Women's Health nurse for almost 10 years. I have always been passionate about women's health and pregnancy and birth. I love helping and empowering women in their labor and birth, and I am honored and privileged to be a part of such an important time of their lives. My husband and I are originally from St. Louis, MO. Our family has always loved the beach and the Sarasota area, and we are excited to make it our new home.

Jennifer Miller

Jennifer Miller was born in Sarasota, Florida. She received her Bachelor's in Nursing from the University of South Florida and Masters in Nursing at Saint Joseph's College of Maine. She has worked as a Registered Nurse at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and Doctors Hospital of Sarasota for 13+ years. While studying for her APRN degree she worked in Orthopedic Surgery and Cardiothoracic surgery settings.

Kyle L. Garner

Dr. Garner arrived in Sarasota in 2006, He attended Davidson College in North Carolina where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Biology. From there he attended medical school at Wake Forest University/Bowman Gray School of Medicine and went on to become double boarded in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Family Medicine from the University of Tennessee, Memphis. With an interest in Women's Health, he joined the Family Medicine faculty and finished an obstetrical fellowship. His interest in surgery and high risk obstetrics grew and led him to complete another full residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tennessee, where he received honors as a gynecologic resident. Dr. Garner takes a special interest in minimally invasive surgical procedures and is certified in laparoscopic and DaVinci Robotic Assisted Minimally Invasive Surgery including myomectomy, hysterectomy and complex laparoscopy for endometriosis and adhesion resection. From 2012-2016 Dr. Garner served as Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sarasota Memorial Hospital where he worked with community leaders and hospital administration to improve women's health services in Sarasota. In 2013, he ws named Physician of the Year at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, and has now been selected to serve as Chief of Staff at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in 2018. Dr. Garner also serves as an Assistant Professor with the Florida State College of Medicine, teaching medical students about women's health. He hopes to provide the finest care to women and make Gulf Coast Obstetrics & Gynecology the premier women's center of the Suncoast.

Pat Delongaig

Pat has provided Obstetrical and Gynecological care to women for more than 20 years and is well-educated in all aspects of Women's Health and child birth. She enjoys working with our patients by helping girls become women, women become mothers and mothers become grandmothers.
