Amy Solis-Corea

Our Medicaid Coordinator at Palmetto Subacute Care Center, Amy, has been in the financial field for over ten years. She works very closely with the residents and their families to support and facilitate their transition to our community, to assist them in applying for Medicaid, and to answer any questions they might have related to their insurance coverage. Amy's passion is to provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism.

Beatriz Gonzalez

Beatriz joined our team shortly after the Palmetto Subacute Care Center community opened in 1996! She has over 33 years of experience in social work. Beatriz is committed to providing our residents and guests with support, understanding, and guidance during their stay at our community. In her spare time, you can find her enjoying her grandchildren, watching live theater, or having a delectable meal at the many restaurants in town!

Elizabeth Monteagudo - CHRO

Job Titles:
  • Director of Human Resources
Elizabeth serves as the Director of Human Resources, as well as oversees the accounts payable and payroll department at the Palmetto Subacute community. She holds a bachelors degree in business administration and has been an integral part of the Palmetto Subacute family for the last 13 years. She always knew that she wanted a career that helped people, beginning in healthcare as a receptionist. As a human resources professional, she believes this position allows her the opportunity to serve as a support system both to employees and the residents of Palmetto. Her motto is, "happy staff means happy patients/residents".

Enrique Noste

Enrique has been in the nursing field for ten years and counting. Witnessing a patient's progress towards a safe discharge and returning to home is the most favorite part of her job. In his spare time he enjoys playing soccer and baseball.

Irene Correa Staffing

Irene has been with the Palmetto family for over 20 years as the staffing coordinator. She is a proud Puerto Rican whose personality shines through! She has adopted a wonderful puppy named Milo, who she is absolutely obsessed about!

Ivis Casanova

Ivis has been involved in healthcare and supporting the elderly for over 10 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Helping families during this phase of their lives and guiding them is what drives Ivis. She loves all things Disney and spending time traveling with her dog all over the United States.

Johana Montealegre

Johana has been working in the healthcare field for 11 years. She enjoys helping and guiding families to make the right nursing home decision. In her spare time, she owns a basketball training company. Johana and her husband focus on the business of training the youth to thrive and become excellent basketball players. Johana is a mother of four who is very dedicated to her job and helping others. She focuses on also thriving and making sure she can help others with her compassion and experience.

Maria Celada

Maria is a registered nurse with seven years of experience of delivering high levels of quality care to patients in varying roles. Her education and credentials include an Associate of Science in nursing, a Florida State Board of Nursing license, licensure as a registered nurse, certification in IV therapy, CPR certification, and a certification in ACLS. She is also in the process of completing the infection prevention and control training and certification! For the past four months, Maria has served as the Assistant Director of Nursing and Infection Preventionist / Infection Control Coordinator here at Palmetto. Her mission in healthcare as she describes is to, "assist team members in the education of infection control policy and procedures, and to assist with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of national infection control policies." As one of our clinical leaders, Maria assists in leading and ensuring the quality, safety, and continuity of resident/patient care. She works closely with the entire interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent communication while providing health, wellness, and satisfaction to the residents and patients of Palmetto.

Marylyn Moona

Marylyn is a very passionate individual who has successfully committed her expertise to Palmetto Subacute Care Center for over 25 years as the director of medical records and purchasing. Her passion comes from her Caribbean roots, where she was born and raised, on the island of St. Lucia. Marylyn's pride and joy will always be her son, daughter-in-law, and her three grandchildren.

Nestor Rivas

For the past 15 years, Nestor has worked with the Palmetto Subacute team supporting nursing, MDS, and the rehabilitation department. His education and credentials include an associate's degree in physical therapy and a bachelor's degree in psychology. Nestor is proficient in multidisciplinary planning of patients' care and billing. He has extensive experience in the rehabilitation field and is Bilingual (English and Spanish). He has an exceptional work ethic, is well-rounded, and always has a "can do" attitude! He has a passion to work with the geriatric population!

Born and raised in Cuba, Rolando is an all-around handyman. With over ten years of experience, he is a proud part of the Palmetto Subacute family. He continues to enjoy his work each and every day that he is here. One of his hobbies is spending his free time with family and friends!

Steven D. Missaggia

Steven graduated in 1981 from Rutgers University with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Advanced Psychology. While actively pursuing his doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, he joined an in-patient psychiatric care team where he discovered his deep passion for nursing. Steven then pursued his nursing degree at the Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing, and he began his tenured career as a telemetry nurse. Shortly thereafter, he transitioned to the field of subacute care and in-patient rehabilitation, a relatively new and innovative field at that time. In 1998, he accepted his first Director of Nursing position and has since guided his teams to 7 perfect Deficiency-Free Department of Health Surveys, one of long-term care's most highly-regarded achievements. At 62-years-of-age, Steven has over 20 years of experience as a Director; he also served on the New Jersey Board of Directors with NJADONA, and the NJ Director of Nursing Association for 15 years, including 6 years as the vice president.
