DIGITAL UNITE - Key Persons
Caroline looks after the Digital Champion's community, overseeing the forum, publishing newsletters, organising meet-ups, answering queries and doing some social media. She specialises in very bad dad jokes... and presents the DC podcast with Rashpal.
Emma is the founder of Digital Unite and "holds the vision." She thinks about what we can do to make the world more digitally inclusive, and how we can make it happen. What can we learn? What can we create? Who can we work with?
Harriet thinks about content. She works with our clients and Champions to understand their learning needs, to set objectives and devise creative learning solutions. Here's a piece she wrote about the content design process.
Karen oversees the day to day running of DU, coordinates the delivery of all our larger projects and makes everything work! She also leads on monitoring and evaluation.
Kat runs all our different learning platforms including the Digital Champions Network and Inspire, works on new technology projects and supports data analysis.
Kate runs our sales. She connects with organisations who want to be more digitally inclusive and works with them to see how we can help. She leads on Let's Get Digital, Durham, helping local organisations turn staff and volunteers into Digital Champions.
Paula oversees the creation, maintenance and evaluation of the content on our learning platforms. This includes all the learning courses on the DCN and the free tech guides on our site.
Rashpal supports Digital Champions to develop in their roles, sharing resources, keeping training up to date, setting-up and facilitating peer and skills share sessions. They also present the DC podcast with Caroline.

Sarah supports existing members on the Digital Champions Network (DCN), particularly Project Managers and makes sure the Network is serving our members' needs. She leads on Let's Get Digital, West Cumbria, helping local organisations turn staff and volunteers into Digital Champions.
Sophie does our marketing and comms. She draws up the strategy, looks after the website and runs our social media channels. She occasionally runs small projects too.
