Christine Pearson joined Metro Housing in 2020 as Interim Human Resources Director before being named Chief Human Resources Officer in 2021. For three years prior to joining Metro Housing, Christine worked as Senior HR Consultant for a consulting firm, working with a variety of non-profit and for profit companies. Prior to that, Christine worked for 18 years as VP of HR at Advocates, Inc. where she grew an HR Department in the areas of recruitment, benefits, training and HRIS.

Christopher T. Norris

Mr. Norris has served as the executive director of Metro Housing|Boston since 2007. With a staff of 250 and a $21 million operating budget, Metro Housing|Boston connects residents of Greater Boston with safe, decent homes they can afford, emergency housing assistance payments, and administers more than 9,500 rental assistance vouchers. Prior to working at Metro Housing|Boston, Mr. Norris spent ten years as the assistant director of Citizens' Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA), where he directed their state legislative policy work. Before that, he served as the coordinator of the National Consumer Law Center's Foreclosure Prevention Program. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Pacific and his JD from the Massachusetts School of Law. He serves as a member of CHAPA's Policy Leadership Council and on the board of directors of the Regional Housing Network of Massachusetts.

Felisha comes to Metro Housing from the MA Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) where she served as the Director of Contracts and Compliance and the Director of Hotel/Motel Field Operations in the division of Housing Stabilization. Prior to her work at DHCD, Felisha worked at the MA Rehabilitation Commission in the Statewide Head Injury program and prior to that, she worked for several years at Housing Families, as the Director of Housing Based Services. Felisha also previously worked for Metro Housing|Boston in the 1990's in the former Scattered Site Family Emergency Shelter Program.

Frantz Dessources

Frantz started working at Metro Housing in August 2014 as a case manager with the HomeBase program. He was promoted to the Inspections department the following year. Because of his work ethics, Frantz became the first Lead Inspector for the department after a short time. He was then promoted to manager in 2021. Frantz was promoted to the Interim Director of Inspections in August of 2023. Frantz graduated from Franklin Institute of Boston with an electrical engineering degree.

Joshua joined Metro Housing|Boston as Chief Program Officer in 2023. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversight of all Metro Housing participant services and programs. Prior to joining Metro Housing, Joshua served as Director of Housing at Community Healthlink in Worcester, where he led the day-to-day operations of Homeless Outreach & Advocacy Project. Joshua has also served in management positions at Lowell Transitional Living Center Inc., Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Inc., and Women in Community Service. Joshua earned a bachelor's degree in education from Roger Williams University and a Masters of Education from Brown University.

Katharine Milton

Ms. Milton joined Metro Housing|Boston as the Director of Civil Rights and Fair Housing in 2021. She leads the organization's civil rights and fair housing initiatives on policy, advocacy, technical assistance, and training. Ms. Milton also serves as the organization's compliance officer for the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and the Language Access Program (LAP). Ms. Milton has more than 15 years' experience advocating for, and representing under-resourced communities, including families with low incomes, persons with disabilities, undocumented workers, and survivors of domestic violence. She serves as a Commissioner on the Somerville Disability Commission and on the Board of Directors of East Somerville Main Streets. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Humanities from Providence College and her JD from Suffolk University Law School.

As Metro Housing's Director of Fundraising & Outreach, she is responsible for creating and providing leadership to comprehensive fundraising and volunteer programs, encompassing annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, special events, and other initiatives. Prior to her work here, Rebecca worked for several years at Economic Mobility Pathways (EMPath), Connecticut Food Bank, and provided grant writing consulting to various nonprofits. Rebecca is also the Treasurer of the Board of Directors at Castle of Our Skins. Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from University of Connecticut and a Master of Social Work from Hunter College.

A graduate of Emerson College, Sarah joined Metro Housing Boston in 2017 after an extensive career in geriatric social work. After managing several programs administered by the Connecticut Department of Social Services focused on keeping participants safely housed in their own homes, Sarah came to the Leased Housing Department as a Manager of Federal Voucher Programs. For the last several years she was the Managing Director of Training and Staff Development overseeing voucher program execution and compliance. As Director of Leased Housing, Sarah is responsible for ensuring Metro Housing Boston's rental assistance programs and staff foster safe and affordable housing choice options, support families reach their goals of financial self-sufficiency, and help ensure housing stability.

Steven Farrell - COO

Mr. Farrell joined Metro Housing|Boston in 2013 after previously serving as Director of Development at the Boston Private Industry Council. While living in Ohio, Steve was the first executive director of a statewide non-profit housing association for people with developmental disabilities. Steve has also previously worked in policy, programs, and fundraising for City Year and United Way. A native of Watertown, Steven graduated from Northeastern University, earned a Bachelor of Philosophy degree from St. John's Seminary in Brighton, and received a Master of Public Policy degree from Georgetown University. He now lives in Dorchester with his husband Todd. When Stephen suffered a severe stroke in January of 2017, his family did not think he was going to make it. In fact Stephen was pronounced dead at the hospital. But the Dorchester native was not ready to quit and he soon began the fight of his life.

Xander Brehm joined Metro Housing|Boston in 2022, and became Director of Data, Research, and Evaluation in 2023. His expertise is building informative evidence-based narratives with data analytics, modeling, and statistical learning. He leads a team focused on data integrity, inference, and reporting. His previous experience includes data analysis and direct shelter service during the Covid-19 pandemic at Pine Street Inn, Boston's largest homeless service provider; technical support in disaster and disease response with a HUD consulting office; and survey and research design at the International Labour Organization and United Nations. Mr. Brehm previously worked in international development in Bangkok and Sierra Leone. Mr. Brehm studied complex systems science at the Santa Fe Institute, received his Master's degree in Economics from the University of Oxford and Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from Skidmore College.
