Babajide Ogunseinde

Babajide Ogunseinde, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with Longview Orthopedics Regional Clinics. Dr. Ogunseinde attended college at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, and medical school at Howard University in Washington, DC. He attended residency for Harvard Combined Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston and completed his fellowship in spine surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ogunseinde has been practicing in East Texas since 2010 and is a member of the AOA Medical Honor Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society (NASS) and is a AOSpine Member. Dr. Ogunseinde specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of surgical conditions of the adult cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He offers spine care of a range of spinal conditions, from acute injuries and degenerative conditions of the neck (including cervical disc replacements) and lower back (uch as disc herniations, spondylolistheses, and spinal stenosis), to more complex conditions such as adult scoliosis, spinal infections, fractures and spine tumors. He performs complex scoliosis correction surgery in adults both staged and unstaged. He also performs minimally invasive spine surgery, which includes kyphoplasty for osteoporotic compression fractures and other pathologic fractures from tumor. He also performs percutaneous pedicle screw stabilization for spine trauma and degenerative spinal conditions, as well as sacroiliac joint fusions. Jonathan Fontenot

Jonathan Fontenot, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with Longview Orthopedics Regional Clinics. Dr. Fontenot attended college at the University of Louisiana and medical school at Louisiana State University. He completed his residency at Texas A&M Scott and White. Dr. Fontentot's spine fellowship was at the Florida Spine Institute. Dr. Fontentot and his wife, Mitzi, have four children: Kirsten, Megan, McKenzie and Peyton, and one granddaughter, Ella. Dr. Fontenot enjoys spending time with his family, comparative pistol shooting, motorcycle touring and martial arts. He is from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, and has been practicing in the East Texas region for 23 years. Joshua A. Russell

Joshua A. Russell, M.D., is a Texas-born and raised board-certified orthopedic sports surgeon with Longview Orthopedics Regional Clinics. Dr. Russell grew up south of Dallas and attended Midlothian High School, then traveled to Texas A&M University where he was a football letterman and a Verizon Scholar Athlete all four years. He then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio School of Medicine, where his love of orthopedic surgery grew. After graduating medical school, he was awarded a general surgery internship at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. From there, Dr. Russell completed his orthopedic Surgery residency at West Virginia University. While in residency, he was involved in research regarding the shoulder and shoulder replacements, and developed a deeper passion for the care of athletes and athletic injuries. He was involved in the care of football players, collegiate and Olympic-level athletes at West Virginia University as well as the West Virginia Black Bears minor league baseball team. To further his passion, Dr. Russell elected to pursue a fellowship year of training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at Baylor University in Houston and Burkhart Research Institute for Orthopedics in San Antonio, TX. As part of the fellowship, Dr. Russell cared for veterans and members of the Texas A&M University football team, the Houston SaberCats professional rugby team and the San Antonio Missions Minor League Baseball team. He was also proud to serve as team doctor for Episcopal High School in Houston and see their football team win a 2019 SPC Championship. Dr. Russell's additional year of training was highlighted by direct experience in the techniques developed by Dr. Stephen Burkhart, the father of shoulder arthroscopy and superior capsular reconstruction, as well as joint preservation and cartilage restoration of the hip and knee, and advanced arthroscopic surgery with leaders in the sports medicine field. Dr. Russell is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He sub-specializes in shoulder, knee and hip issues including rotator cuff and labral tears, shoulder instability, robotic partial and total knee replacements, guided shoulder replacements, ACL/PCL/MCL/LCL tears, knee instability, meniscus tear repair and transplantation, cartilage restoration and preservation of hip labral tears, and reconstruction addressed with minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Russell and his wife, Ashley, are both Aggies and have two awesome boys, Peyton and Jackson, and a new addition of baby Emma. Together, they have been pursuing his dream of orthopedic surgery across the country and are happy to be back in Texas where he can care for the next generation of athletes and their families. Kenneth Reesor

Kenneth Reesor, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with Longview Orthopedics Regional Clinics. Dr. Reesor attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He then completed the transitional surgical internship with the US Army at Dwight David Eisenhower Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. His orthopedic preceptorship with the US Army was at Moncrief Community Army Hospital in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Dr. Reesor completed his residency with the US Army at Tripler Army Medical Center in Tripler, Hawaii, and his spine surgical fellowship at South Texas Spinal Clinic in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Reesor's gamut of spine surgery ranges from complex multi level front back fusions, both cervical and lumbar, to the simple minimally invasive procedures such as the interspinous distractor device, vetebralplasty, and kyphoplasty. Dr. Reesor is from Glendale, Kentucky, and has been practicing in the East Texas region since 1993. Dr. Reesor has five children: Scott, Melissa, Jacob, Kayla and Sarah. He attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, where he earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in biology and psychology, along with his master's in physical therapy. He attended St. George's University in Grenada, Wisconsin, for medical school. He completed his pain medicine fellowship at Florida Spine Institute in Clearwater, Florida. Dr. Porter is a member of the American Association of Pain Medicine, the American Association of Family Medicine, the American Medical Association and the Association of Ultrasound in Medicine. Melissa Sutton, DNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She is an East Texas native with deep community roots. Dr. Sutton received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Duke University. She has more than 15 years of experience as an advanced practice nurse and more than 20 years nursing experience. She has been practicing with the original cardiologists who founded the cardiac programs at both Longview hospitals for the past 12 years. Dr. Sutton specializes in general cardiology, including coronary disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmias and structural heart disease. Her knowledge includes advanced heart failure, as she is passionate about improving the quality of life in these patients. She oversees and coordinates the congestive heart failure (CHF) clinic and manages patients, including those with left ventricular assist devices (LVAD) and various other advanced therapies for CHF. She is the valve clinic coordinator for the Center for Valve Disorders and oversees the trans-catheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) clinic, which was the first in the East Texas region. She studied patients with peripheral vascular disease and implemented a quality improvement initiative, including assisting with the development of the regions first peripheral arterial disease rehab center at Longview Regional. Melissa has one son, Taylor, who is in college, and two adorable grandchildren, Branson and Emme. She has 2 four legged children, Great Danes Bella and Nyla. Dr. Dahal completed his fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, Texas, where he was the 2021 chief fellow. Most recently, Dr. Dahal completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio. Ronald Scott

Ronald Scott, M.D., is a board-certified interventional cardiologist. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center. Dr. Scott completed his residency at Duke University School of Medicine in interventional medicine and completed his fellowship in cardiology at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Scott's expertise includes interventional cardiology, cardiac and peripheral artery evaluation and treatment, congestive heart failure treatment, managing left ventricular assist devices patients, pacemaker and defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Scott has been blessed by great partners, nurses, office staff and hospital staff for the last 26 years. It has been a privilege for him to serve the fine people of Longview. Thomas Taylor
