Burton Hockey Club was established back in 1899 the same year as F.C Barcelona! We are an ambitious yet friendly Hockey Club based in the brewing town of Burton-upon-Trent in Staffordshire, the Midlands... The club actively promotes and supports 4 mens teams, 2 ladies teams, a mixed Badger team, as well as a highly popular and successful youth academy, we also run mixed and veteran's teams... We host games at weekends usually Saturday and have training sessions for both Ladies and Mens sides plus the Academy during the week. We annually enter teams into the Mixed Trophy and got to the knockout stages twice in three years and Veterans Trophy (over 40's). During the off season we enter several teams into Mens and Ladies competitions (Derbyshire for the Ladies, Beeston 6s and 11s for the Men) - and we offer walking hockey. We also run pre season fitness sessions for those gearing up to start the new season also down at the Ellis.
