CandLE is run by educational experts in the field of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). Managing Director, Marion Stanton, is a recognised leader in the field of curriculum access for students who rely on AAC. From her experience of having a son with cerebral palsy, she developed an understanding of the needs of AAC users and the appropriate support they require to be able to communicate, learn and thrive... CandLE is a not-for-profit organisation supporting the learning and communication needs of students who rely on AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). We support students in mainstream and special schools with communication, literacy and curriculum access... CandLE has a team of resource developers that are dedicated to producing learning resources for the students we support. As well as developing our own learning programmes, we also adapt well known resources and textbooks. These resources are available for all CandLE students.
