Following an eventful and fun childhood in the Middle East and West Africa, Adrian studied Electrical Engineering at Bath University sponsored by the Army. After a short period in the services, Adrian started his civilian career working for a couple of defence contractors developing software but quickly discovered that his skills lay in system architecture and managing techies rather than writing code himself. This was followed by a two year fellowship at CERN, where he showed his lack of technical insight by turning down the opportunity to work for Tim Berners-Lee on the World Wide Web in 1990. However, this period shaped the next 25 years of Adrian's life by shifting his focus onto product development with increasingly senior positions in four software product companies, broken by one year working as a management consultant for a global firm. After his second successful software exit in 2011, Adrian has been involved in a number of advisory and interim CEO roles helping business with management and technology strategy. In 2016 Adrian joined Rosan Helmsley as CTO to drive the technical strategy and ensure that the business continues to support client information needs through industry leading technology solutions.

Caroline joined Rosan Helmsley in 2010, coming from an art and design background having graduated in Graphic Design from St Martins School of Art, in London. Caroline is an integral member of our administration team, and her organisational skills aid the smooth running of company events and the office. Caroline has a passion for all things Horse related and embarks on regular horseback adventures to India riding the Marwari horses of Rajasthan across the Thar Desert, and has become instrumental in promoting this unique breed worldwide by instigating the Bit Donation Scheme. Caroline has also successfully convened and captained teams from the UK to take part in Endurance competitions within India, as well as organising educational training camps. She is currently the only foreigner qualified to judge the Marwari horse breed under IHSI rules.

James has over 27 years experience in the financial services industry, of which 22 years have been in the IFA sector. He has worked for both large, national organisations and small, niche businesses and joined Rosan Helmsley in 2013, following a period with a large wealth management firm in London. James is a Chartered Financial Planner and Law graduate and has brought his extensive analytical and research experience to the financial services sector, where he uses these skills in delivering client reports of a highly technical nature, covering all aspects of regulated financial planning. James has the CII's Pension Transfer qualification and also provides support and analysis on the complex area of Defined Benefit pension transfers. When he is not working, James likes to follow his favourite interests which are football, rugby and personal training. James is also a keen mountain hiker and climber and has travelled through Africa, Europe and the US with recent accomplishments including summiting Kilimanjaro and extensive treks through the Grand Canyon.

Kathryn joined the financial services industry in 1995 when she worked at TF Bell & Co in Leicestershire as an administrator. In 1998 she left her hometown to live in London and joined Elliott Bayley looking after personal client administration for two Directors and rising to an assistant management role before leaving the firm at the end of 2001 to join Rosan Helmsley early in 2002. Kathryn has been instrumental in shaping the support structure and operational systems at Rosan Helmsley and in January 2009 became a Director of the company. Kathryn is responsible for the administration team, our IT requirements for administration support, office management and looking after the administration for a number of the firm's key clients. Kathryn is married with two daughters and happily combines her love of wine and shopping!

Marina loves the office atmosphere and being with people as well as the variety that this role brings on a day-to-day level. Married with a grown-up son and the elderly family cat, away from the office Marina enjoys walking, travelling, socialising with family and friends, cooking and reading.

Rob has been a Wealth Manager since joining the industry on the day of ‘Big Bang' - October 27th 1986 - the day that marked the start of deregulation in the City of London and a move from open outcry to electronic trading on the London Stock Exchange.

I have worked in financial services administration for around 30 years. I really enjoy that no two days are the same and so I am constantly learning. I have achieved a number of industry exams and am currently studying for my level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Services.
