MUNICIPAL BUILDERS - Key Persons
Chris graduated from South Dakota State University in 1998 with a B.S degree in Construction Management. He has over 20 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry all with Municipal Builders, Inc. His experience in combination with being a people person, has made him very adept at working well with engineers and City staff. Chris and his wife live in Maple Grove where he enjoys being involved in coaching his two sons in hockey, baseball, and soccer. He also enjoys singing in the church choir when time allows.
Cody started his tenure at Municipal Builders working summers in the field during high school and college. After graduating from MSU Moorehead in 2014 with a B.S. in Construction Management Cody transitioned to a project coordinator in the office and worked his way up to a full-time project manager and estimator. Cody enjoys the challenges of managing projects and the rewards of completing a project the owner is proud of. In his free time Cody enjoys spending time with his family, online gaming with friends and enjoying the great outdoors.

Jessica earned a B.A. in International Management from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2009 and has worked full time at Municipal Builders since 2010. Jessica has experience in all areas of the company including estimating and managing projects but has always been more focused in the accounting and human resources side of the business. In addition to finance and HR, Jessica also holds the roles of safety director and general office manager. Outside of work Jessica is a long-time board member of her townhome association and enjoys spending time at the family cabin and traveling as much as possible
John has spent his entire career in the water & wastewater market. With over 40 years of experience in the industry John has learned the importance of collaboration between the city, engineer and contractor and has built the company around this core principle. Municipal Builders prides itself on the level of coordination and attention to detail provided on every project. John is also an active member of the MN ABC having previously served on the board of directors and continuing to champion the support of merit shop contractors and small businesses.

Nate is our Head of Operations as well as a project manager and estimator. Nate graduated from MSU Mankato in 2008 with a B.S. in Construction Management. Following graduation he joined the Municipal Builders team and started a career in the water & wastewater industry. Nate appreciates the variety of the projects and the complexity of bringing each one to a successful completion. Outside of work Nate enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, riding motorcycle and snowmobile, and being outdoors.
