Kato Kisen, the core company of the Group, was established as a shipping company between Osaka and Kagawa in 1877 and has been operating for more than 140 years since its foundation. We have always provided new services as a pioneer in the cargo and passage transport industry on the Seto Inland Sea since commencing regular cargo and passenger services between Osaka and Kagawa in 1928. Advance Trading Co., Ltd. was established as a company to take on the challenges of new business areas with the group's corporate philosophy represented in the company name.
