Albany Empire Soccer Club was established in 2010 as New York Capital Region's premier LGBTQ+ friendly soccer club. It operates at the local, regional, and national levels to bolster an inclusive and competitive environment for individuals to play, learn, and improve their soccer skills, all while fostering a healthy athletic and social outlet for the greater LGBTQ+ community. Our vision is to be the leading example of a vibrant LGBTQ+ friendly athletic club... Established in 2010, Albany Empire is the Capital Region's first Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Soccer Club. Albany Empire provides an opportunity for all individuals to play, learn and enhance their soccer skills in a friendly, yet competitive environment. The Albany Empire Soccer Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.
