ALEXRENEW - Key Persons
Adriana Caldarelli is an environmental professional with almost 20 years of experience in the water sector. She joined AlexRenew's Board as a well-rounded public servant and currently works for the Water Environment Federation as director of the Stormwater Institute and the director of National Green Infrastructure Certification Program.
Before moving to Virginia, she worked for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection from 2001 until 2018, serving in multiple capacities, including the division of watershed management; the division of science, research, and technology; the division of water quality, and most recently in the Office of Legislative Affairs.
Adriana is a current MBA student at the Virginia Tech Pamplin School of Business in Falls Church, VA, with a graduation date of 2022. She earned her M.S. degree in Environmental Policy from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and her B.S. in Natural Resource Management from Rutgers University, Cook College.

Bill Dickinson is Principal of the Environmental Policy Network, an Alexandria, Virginia consulting firm specializing in Federal and State legislative matters impacting land conservation, open space public parks, and water resources.
He is retired from U.S. government career service, where he held analytical and managerial positions in the Office of Management and Budget, Energy Department, and the Environmental Protection Agency. During his government service, he had special assignments with the U.S. Congress as a Congressional fellow and later with the Department of Agriculture's Cooperative Extension Service as a project manager in their water quality initiative and environmental education and risk communication project.
Currently, he is a member of the City Parks Alliance and provides representational and consulting services for several metro park systems elsewhere in the U.S. Bill has served as a board member of AlexRenew since 2012.
Bill is a graduate of Drew University (B.A.), the Maxwell School of Public Administration at Syracuse University (MPA), and served as a Lieutenant in the United States Naval Reserve on naval ships in both the arctic and Southeast Asia.

Justin serves as AlexRenew's general manager and chief executive officer, leading AlexRenew's dedicated team of more than 100 employees. He has spent his career dedicated to engineering cleaner waterways and promoting environmentally sustainable design features. Prior to his appointment as GM/CEO, Justin led over $1.6 billion of planning, design, procurement, and construction for wastewater-focused projects in the DC Metro area. He also served as the program manager for the RiverRenew program, a $615 million tunnel project that will prevent millions of gallons of combined sewage from polluting Alexandria's waterways.
Justin is a licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia and the District of Columbia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Wilkes University and a Master of Engineering degree in Environmental Engineering from Manhattan College.
