ALLIANCE JIU JITSU

At Alliance Jiu Jitsu we offer three levels of youth classes: Little Eagles, Youth, and Teens. Our youth program teaches respect and control while strengthening character and providing unshakable confidence. We know that bullying is a serious concern for many parents. No parent wants their child to bully or be bullied. At Alliance Pennsylvania, our youth program teaches children how to safely diffuse encounters without violence. Unlike most martial arts, Jiu-Jitsu uses leverage-based holds and defensive maneuvers instead of punches and kicks to neutralize an aggressor in a safe manner... Alliance Jiu Jitsu Pennsylvania is owned by Chris and Shannon Downing. Chris has been training jiu jitsu for almost two decades and received his black belt under Alex Britto in 2015. Shannon is a brown belt who has been training since 2011. Both are formally trained educators. They believe that everyone can benefit from learning Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and yoga.
