Dennis Cox

Dennis has over 20 years in Optical networking including Initial Sonet design implementation with Fujitsu, and fiber acquisition for WilTel. He was a lead network architect for Bank of America for 15 city optical network. Dennis holds an undergrad from University of Texas, an MBA in Finance from Dallas Baptist and a JD from the University of Tulsa. He has held senior engineering and contract positions with Fujitsu, WilTel Bank of America, ACSI, EDS and Hewlett Packard.

Dick Putt - Chairman

Dick has over 25 years of executive experience in telecommunications and wireless industries. His broad-based industry experience includes senior executive roles in entrepreneurial start ups, as well as prominent global telecommunications companies. Dick's executive experience includes Vice President of National Accounts, Carrier Sales, Business Markets, and finally Vice President of State Government and University Markets, for MCI Corporation. At Broadwing Communications he served as the President of National Accounts, creating their go to market strategy, and leading the sales team which closed the largest custom fiber sale in the company's history to a large multinational financial institution. In addition to his responsibilities at AlphaWave he currently acts as the Principal at Capitol Electronics, a diversified technology marketing company in the Midwest. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati.

Dr. James Hrubes

Job Titles:
  • Chief Technology Advisor
Through our strategic alliance with Logical Link, Dr. Jim Hrubes resides on the Board, and is the lead advisor to Alpha Wave Networks on existing and emerging technology solutions. Dr. Hrubes has over 20 years' experience in fiber/transport technologies, and has led the research and development for Cloud Computing. Dr. Hrubes' experience includes lead roles with IXC and CLEC providers such as WorldCom, MFS and Brooks fiber. Dr. Hrubes holds a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley and advanced engineering degrees from California Institute of Technology.
