ARBORETUM DE LA BERGERETTE

In certain areas of the arborteum, from the beginning Shaun has been keen to preserve, encourage and sometimes introduce the natural flora, for example wild orchids, with the objective of creating a space where pollinating insects, butterflies and birds can prosper. The wildflower meadows are mown just once a year, allowing time for plants to set seed. Bramble patches are left uncut to afford shelter for birds.
