ARTHUR & NICHOLSON DDS - Key Persons
I graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 2011. After graduation, I worked for several years in the Raleigh, NC area as an associate in private practice. I relocated to Louisville, KY in 2015 and served on faculty at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
I am an examiner for the Council of Interstate Testing Agencies (CITA). My role for CITA is to evaluate and grade the work of other dentists who are seeking to become licensed in North Carolina and other states. I am also a member of the Nash-Edgecombe-Halifax Dental Society.
I am a Northampton County native and graduate of Northeast Academy in 2003. I furthered my education at Edgecombe Community College where I obtained an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting in 2010. My background in front desk and scheduling includes otolaryngology, audiology, and now dentistry. My front desk receptionist career started here in February 2019. I take pride in helping and caring for each person whom I come in contact with. I married my husband, Bruce, a CVFD fireman in August 2017. We enjoy cooking, hunting, and camping at White Lake.
I am a true native of Roanoke Rapids. I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993.
After completing my degree at Chapel Hill, I returned to the Roanoke Valley to be close to family and friends. I enjoy seeing familiar faces from the past, as well as, meeting new ones. I am proud to be serving the dental needs of this community where I hope to make a positive impact on those who trust me with their dental care. My wife, Wendy, and I have two children and we enjoy spending time at the lake, beach, and supporting the Tar Heels.
