Cathy Hall

Cathy joined Associated Pension Services, Inc. in 2008 after a 20 year career as a paralegal. Cathy processes all plan distributions and can answer your questions about withdrawals and loans from your qualified plan account during your participation in the plan. Cathy provides assistance if you have a prior qualified account you would like rolled into your current plan. Upon your retirement of separation from service, she will assist you with your distribution. Please contact Cathy if you have questions regarding distributions, withdrawals or loans from your plan. Cathy joined Associated Pension Services, Inc. in 2008 after a 20 year career as a paralegal. Along with providing participant services, Cathy acts as APS's bookkeeper, maintains accounts payable/receivable, processes payroll and performs general office management functions.

Emily Vaccaro

Emily is the newest member at Associated Pension Services, Inc. and handles the enrollment of participants into their 401(k) Plan. Emily works closely with your HR Department to acquire and update employee census information on an ongoing basis and also maintains all participant files. She is responsible for ordering enrollment material from our various investment providers and preparing the enrollment packets for your participants.

Frederic F. Hoffman, III

Eric officially joined the Associated Pension Services, Inc. team in 2016. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 2012 with a B.S. in both Finance and Accountancy. Eric has also earned his Accredited Investment Fiduciary, Certified Plan Fiduciary Adviser, Retirement Income Certified Professional, and Accredited Pension Representative designations. He holds a Series 7, 66, and 24 from FINRA, in addition to life and health insurance licenses. Eric has spent over 10 years working in Fiduciary Services at the Broker/Dealer level and is a member of the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA). He brings extensive knowledge and expertise in an era of ever-changing regulation. Eric enjoys spending his free time at home with his wife and their four children. "I feel like I grew up in the retirement business and I have taken every opportunity to learn more about it from many perspectives. What I learned was that nobody does it better than Associated Pension Services, Inc. and I am excited about being part of this team."

Joseph E. Carroll

Joe joined the Associated Pension Services, Inc. team in 2008 after being in the financial field for over 30 years. After graduating from DePaul University in 1985 he was a bond trader at the Chicago Board of Trade for 20 years. His interest in serving individuals and businesses led him to pursue a different path which brought him to APS. Joe received his Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) designation in 2008 and also holds his Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation. Joe holds the Series 66 and 7 licenses from FINRA. Joe and his wife live in Barrington Illinois and have three grown children. Joe enjoys golf and tennis, but most of all Joe enjoys "hanging out" with his family. "I truly enjoy meeting business owners and learning their stories. It is gratifying to know that our services and expertise can generate a positive impact on their businesses and their employees. Judith R. Song

Judi has been with Associated Pension Services, Inc. for over 25 years. She earned her Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) designation from the Internal Revenue Service in 2011. This designation allows her to practice before the IRS and represent taxpayers in matters involving their qualified plan as set forth in Treasury Department Circular 230. Judi became a member of the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) in 2015 earning her Accredited Pension Administrator designation. This ongoing education allows Judi to provide APS customers with the expertise and guidance needed to maintain the qualified status of their plan.

Julie W. Segerson

Julie has been a part of the Participant Services team at Associated Pension Services, Inc. for nearly 20 years. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in International Relations and Economics. She holds a Series 6, 63, 65 and 7 from FINRA as well as her Life, Accident and Health insurance license. Julie spends most of her time working directly with the participants in our retirement plans; both in group settings and one on one. She enjoys educating both the young, new participants and helping those nearer retirement understand the impact their savings can have on their personal retirement goals. "Each participant is unique and their hopes and dreams for retirement are as varied as they are. I am in a position to educate them on how to achieve their financial goals and I feel fortunate to have a career that is so fulfilling." JWS Julie lives with her husband in Cary, IL and has two grown children. She is an avid Audio Book listener and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Now that her children are out of college she hopes to become a world traveler.

Kym Ehlebracht

Kym began working at Associated Pension Services, Inc. in 2000 and has engaged in several roles. She is the next point person once your plan design has been determined. Kym prepares the necessary plan and trust document, adoption agreement, resolutions, and supporting forms. She acts as liaison between the plan sponsor and funding companies assisting with contribution submissions and payroll processing. Kym meets with human resource departments and assists the client in understanding the funding company's processes and procedures which ensure plan compliancy. Kym holds the FINRA Series 6 and 63 Licenses, as well as her Illinois Insurance license allowing her to work with participants to review their investment options. Kym can assist participants through the entire enrollment process.
