Bob "Ghost" Grey - CEO, Founder

Bob is a graduate of the Air Force Academy, with a Master's degree from Harvard's Kennedy School. He has over 3500 flying hours in the F-22, F-16, F-15, C-141 and C-26 with mutilple combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. He is a former F-22 Wing Commander, Maintenance Group Commander and Air Expeditionary Task Force Deputy Commander. He retired as a Brigadier General after nearly 29 years of service in the Air Force.

Charles "Flex" Butler - CEO

Job Titles:
  • Senior Managing Director
Charles is a graduate of the Air Force Academy and has Master's degrees in military operational art and science as well as management. He was also a National Defense Fellow at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. He has over 3800 flying hours in the F-22, F-15C, and C-141 with combat time over Iraq in the F-15. Charles had three command tours to include commanding the 611th Air Operations Center in Alaska and an air expeditionary group in the Middle East. He retired as a Colonel after more than 24 years in the Air Force.

Francine Spinelli - CFO

Francine is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and has a Master's Degree from Harvard's Kennedy School. She has worked extensively in Finance for both the private sector and government, and has been a co-owner in multiple entrepreneurial ventures. As CFO she oversees Finance, Human Resources and Contracting.

Pat "Bear" McAtee

Pat is a graduate of the Air Force Academy. He has over 3000 flying hours in the F-22 and F-16, and is a graduate of the USAF Weapons Instructor Course with multiple combat tours in Iraq, including Operation Iraqi Freedom. He retired from the Air Force as a Colonel having served over 26 years including as an F-22 Operations Group Commander and Maintenance Squadron Commander. As Director of Programs he oversees Avix efforts in advanced sensors and datalinks for 5th and 4th generation manned and unmanned aircraft.

Pete "Coach" Fesler

Job Titles:
  • Vice President of Government Programs
Pete is a graduate of the University of Utah, with three Master's degrees, including a Security Studies degree from the National War College. He has over 2000 flying hours in the F-22 and F-15C with combat time over Iraq, and is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Weapons School. Pete is a former F-22 Wing and Squadron Commander and has had staff tours at Headquarters Air Force, the Joint Staff, and Headquarters North American Aerospace Defense Command. He retired as a Brigadier General after more than 27 years in the Air Force.
