AVON JETS BADMINTON CLUB - Key Persons
In 2014 Andrew was found curled up asleep in a box of discarded shuttles and after being lured in with a saucer of warm milk he was made fixtures secretary, as is tradition. A closet spreadsheet fan he is able to give an Avon Jets' player's stats for the past three years at a moment's notice. To date no one has ever asked him.
Danny is the Chair of the club, and his reign of terror started in 2013, after accepting the position on the condition that everyone calls him El Presidente. His responsibilities include making sure the club is running smoothly like a well oiled machine, act important, arrange regular committee meetings and tell the members of the committee to do their jobs. In addition he represents the club at the Avon Badminton Association and league AGMs. He rules us with a smile. LONG LIVE EL PRESIDENTE!!!
Mark has been treasurer of the club as long as anyone can remember. He is also the Quartermaster and so keeps the club supplied with shuttles. He is a key point of contact with Bradley Stoke School and the court bookings.
Rich has been running the junior club since 2014. The Junior Club is an important part of Avon Jets, allowing us to provide badminton coaching for 10 - 16yr olds*.
