Batchwood Hall Bowls Club is a hidden gem, found in the peaceful surroundings of Batchwood Sports and Golf Centre. We have a spacious, modern club house and a quality green, excellently cared for by the team that looks after the surrounding golf course. There is plentiful free parking. We are a mixed club with a famously friendly reputation and we are always keen to welcome new members... Our green will open for play on Saturday 12th April, when the club welcomes our Patron, the Mayor of St Albans, to cast the first bowl. Our varied program of matches can be viewed under the Fixtures tab. The inter-club ‘friendlies' are sociable occasions with light refreshments and chatter afterwards. For the more ambitious, the club enters team leagues at County and District level, with some success.
