Beehive Research served as the lead research firm for an organization working to identify specific and recent civil rights violations related to debtors' prisons. Using publicly available court records, Beehive was able to build a database that was used to identify courts with unusually high numbers of fine or jail time cases, allowing investigators on the ground to prioritize their fieldwork.
