Bekking & Blitz was founded in Amsterdam by Hein Bekking in 1963. It still is a family business, run by the third generation. The company started out as a book publisher and has since evolved into a leading producer of fine art prints and high-quality museum products as well as an art publisher... At Bekking & Blitz we develop elegant fine-art gifts and stylish stationery, inspired by famous and beautiful artworks from museums and the finest illustrations. Our collection includes art cards, diaries, calendars and notepads. In our web shop we also sell homeware like coasters, umbrellas, glasses cases and bamboo tableware... Our products feature the work of renowned artists like M.C. Escher, for example, with his precise and enigmatic etchings. We also have products with Dick Bruna's whose famous character Miffy, who is able to charm members of all generations. Bekking & Blitz has acquired the exclusive rights to use the work of both artists, and many more, for unique product designs..
